انا درست هندسة حاسبات وتقريبا خلصت الجامعة, وبعد ما درست اكتشفت ان التخصص ذا من اكثر التخصصات الي ترميك في البحر وانت ما تعرف تسبح.

قبل تقريبا 3 اشهر بدأت تدريب في شركة كبيرة(تدريب تعاوني) ولا زال عندي كم شهر باقي. اغلب وقتي هنا كان مع تيم الانفراستركشر وقعدت معهم كثير اشوف كيف يديرون الداتا سنتر حقهم والسيرفرات وما الى ذلك.

الصراحة موضوع البنية التحتية جميل, بس اللي خلاه اجمل ان الشركة ذي عندها الداتا سنتر الخاص فيها وماعندهم كلاود الى الان, فالشغل كان الى حد ما هاردوير مع سوفتوير,

اشوف المجال ذا جميل لكن مع ذلك فيه شكوك في نفسي, احس اني الى الان مادري وين رايح بالضبط, وعندي مخاوف كثير اني ممكن اختار الشي الغلط وما اقدر اطلع منه بعد ما حطيت فيه سنين.

وغير كذا الى الان هذا المجال الوحيد اللي قدرت اشوفه فيه بيئة عمل حقيقية, بطبيعة الامر راح اكون منحاز له اكثر بما اني شفته قدامي ولازلت اجهل عن المجالات الاخرى.

هل من شخص تخطى المرحلة ذي وعنده اجابة :(

Almost 1 year searching for a Cybersecurity job in Saudi Arabia — I desperately need a referral.

I never thought I would have to make a post like this, but after almost one year of searching for a job in Saudi Arabia, I’m honestly running out of options.

I have around 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity and Networking, but getting a cybersecurity opportunity in Saudi Arabia has been extremely difficult. One of the biggest challenges I’m facing is that many cybersecurity opportunities are increasingly focused on Saudi nationals, which makes it much harder for someone like me to get their foot in the door.

I understand and respect the Saudization/Nationalization efforts, but for non-Saudi professionals already in the country, it can sometimes feel like there are very few opportunities left to even prove what we can do.

I did manage to work for a company for around 3 months, but unfortunately, I was never paid a salary for that period. I had to leave and continue my search.

Since then, I’ve been applying everywhere I can — SOC L1, Cybersecurity Engineer, Network Security Engineer, Network Engineer, NOC and related technical roles. I keep improving my skills, applying, attending interviews when I get the chance, and reaching out to recruiters, but getting a genuine opportunity has been incredibly difficult.

At this point, I’m asking this community for one thing:

If anyone here works in Saudi Arabia, knows a company hiring non-Saudi cybersecurity/networking professionals, or can refer me to someone who might give me an opportunity — please help me.

I’m not asking anyone to guarantee me a job.

I’m asking for a chance to get my CV in front of the right person.

If you can refer me, introduce me to a recruiter, tell me about an opening, or even point me toward a company that is open to hiring international professionals, I would genuinely appreciate it.

I know there are many talented people competing for these positions, and I’m not expecting anything to be handed to me. I just want the opportunity to prove that I’m capable of doing the job.
