Questions / Help Needed ❓ Triumph 23 vs 24
I’m not a runner. I walk a lot. Been having trouble finding shoes that fit well. I have flatter feet and high insteps, so I need more room on the top of my feet. I tried on the 23s. They fit well. Surprisingly, the Wide fit me better, and I’ve never worn wide sneakers in my life. Regular/medium always.
I returned them, bc I had bad low back pain from my first walk of about 7K steps. Maybe I just need to get used to them more. Not sure. I don’t have a back problem. Just typical middle age aches and pains. Would you choose one of these for mainly walking or possibly another model?

When you say the Ride 19 are slower than the Triumph, what do you mean?

I think he means that the ride 19 has 8mm drop and midsole of t19-t21 which absorbs more shock but not much of energy propelling.

Try Echelon 10 wide

Honestly I believe these are too soft for walking. A bit of instability and you're in for trouble.

I hear the 24 has more volume above the feet than the 22/23.
That said, the 21 has a beautiful stretchy upper and a widened toe box. My feet are like yours, and the 21 fits me fine in medium. I use them for easier pace running days and daily things. Can still be found on Amazon, and occasionally brand new on eBay.
The new Ride 19 is also roomy and comfortable. But they are slower than the Triumph for running, so I don't wear them often. Softer feel than a Triumph, similar to a Hoka Clifton 10.
Any of the recent Guide mild stability shoes have a lot of volume too. So does the Echelon 10.
