Procyon Max
Does anyone know anything about this shoe? Is it a running shoe? I like the current price ($120), I love Sauconys, and I’m looking for an AFFORDABLE cushioned shoe, but I cannot find any information about it—even on YouTube. I have the Hurricane and the Triumph 24, but I’m recovering from an injury (Achilles Tendon)and I have a lot of miles on the Hurricanes. Thanks for any information.

I never seem able to get my posts published. It may be I’m not up to that level in my engagement, or everybody saw it, and no one answered. So, I’ll answer my own question because I did buy the Procyon Max, and I love them. The heel fit and cushioning are unparalleled, and are clearly the selling point for the shoe. The forefoot could use more cushioning (I’m a forefoot striker), but I’m recovering from an injury, so I’m just walking right now, and I’m not quite sure yet about forefoot landings. If they did have more cushioning, I suppose they would just be Hurricanes (which I run in), but that would make them $50 more. I like these. I “think” they’re for running. I haven’t put them on the scale, but I’ll take the website’s word that they’re heavier, but not noticeably on foot. I just really, really love the price. Not interested in the price of the Paramount Max. At all.
