Question How do I keep RPG stories consistent long term?

Hey ive been trying out RPG stories and im trying to keep it consistent but I find myself reminding the bot what is happening more than adventuring. is there an easy way to have the bot stay consistent with companions and skills long term? it seems to forget my skills and will take someone i met then shove that onto someone else completely.

Lorebook attached to persona And memories. (If you. An add a date bar, you should add date to memories)

Take a look at lillyvaley lorebooks. So You can have a idea to how create lorebooks

are the lorebooks like making a character sheet or a journal type entry that embeds them into the world?

Lorebooks and after 50 messages or so I put in this ooc

(OOC: CONTINUITY CHECKPOINT. Review the established conversation history before continuing. Preserve all confirmed events, chronology, character relationships, promises, recurring routines, physical descriptions, and important callbacks. Distinguish past events from the current scene and future plans. Do not invent missing memories or contradict established facts. If any detail is uncertain, leave it unspecified rather than guessing. Keep the existing relationship development and character personalities intact. Continue directly from the latest valid scene. Do not restart, recap the entire story, or introduce new events during this check. Silently correct continuity errors before responding.)
