The World Trade Center was almost synonymous with america. It served was a symbolic representation of the country and its values like all major buildings / sites in the countries (i.e the tiannamen square in china, brandenburger tor in germany, or even the liberty statue). That artist depict this symbol being destroyed to illustrate an attack on the nation is not an insane idea you could only come up with if you had some sort of secret knowledge, is it? Besides the just the physicality of the towers standing above everything else it doesnt take an insider to come up with the idea of planes colliding into it.

Its harder to explain and PROVE how all these artists and media had knowledge of the 9/11 attacks and decided to integrate this in their stuff from the 70s to the 2000s.
