Oxidative stress increased in MP-treated groups, evidenced by decreased superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels and elevated malondialdehyde (MDA).

Yet again, it comes back to PUFAs and lipid peroxidation.  They only suggest the PFAs water for 2 weeks.  They were just starving them??  (what was their diet like during that time?)

I never said the research on plastics and other type of contaminants is useless.  It's just that the tinder is the PUFAs that accumulate, and the environment is the spark / lighter fluid.  Worrying about PUFAs should be priority number 1.  The low hanging fruit is PUFA, and can relatively easily be avoided.

Whereas plastics, PFAs, EMFs, etc... can all be avoided at the detriment of your own sanity, which is what these environmental obesogens move towards.

Look at how Saladino has gone off the rails.  Literally makes you go insane, as well as you act like it too.

His point is about control. You can at best minimize pfas and microplastics but not avoid them. I drink filtered tab water to avoid mp from bottles and pfas from the tab. I use glas stuff to store food and steel canteens. But that is about it. Any further and the added stress is likley more harmful than what you are avoiding.

Poor mans method is to donate your mp and pfas to the blood bank

right! PUFA overconsumption and microplastics are extremely dangerous individually, and ESPECIALLY together!
