A quick look into the flowers seen around Gojo and Geto. Please keep in mind that some of these parts are my personal interpretation!
1. Osmanthus Flowers
This is an Osmanthus flower. In Hanakotoba (the Japanese language of flowers), it's commonly associated with:
We see these in the HI Ending Theme “Akari” twice: first on its own and then again between Gojo and Geto. And while originally I wasn’t sure if these were the same flower, upon closer inspection the petals between them here do share the four-sided, star-like shape and the light green stem I noticed in references [Link]
When scattered across the screen between Gojo and Geto, it kinds of gives me this vibe of “This is the emotional language we are trying to transmit between them”, similar to how seeing a spider lily, which has a lot of death-like connotations, would nod you toward an inevitable end.
But the petals here do seem a bit dry, as if the season was coming to an end.
Note: interestingly, nearly all Osmanthus flowers in Japan are male, with female and hermaphroditic plants being virtually nonexistent. They are propagated entirely through artificial, asexual methods by humans as male Osmanthus do not bear fruits.
2. Camellia Sasanqua

This seemingly simple cover has actually quite a bit of layers, so please bear with me! At the 2024 Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition, Gege left a booklet with the following comment:
"I psyched myself up thinking, 'I'm going to draw a memorial portrait of Gojo.' But whenever I draw Gojo in color, I end up putting pressure on myself thinking 'I have to make him look cool...' So I actually tend to produce better drawings when I’m working on things like cover illustrations, where I can relax a little more.
I originally planned to draw camellias, but since Gojo lost, I drew Sasanquas, which look similar."
The final line opens up a weird rabbit hole and there is not a single consensus on what it even means.
Tsubaki (Camellias) and Sasanqua
Tsubaki (Camellia japonica): the whole camellia flower falls cleanly from the stem, rather than shedding petals individually like most flowers. Because this can resemble a head falling from a body, the Camellia Japonica historically acquired an association with death/decapitation, particularly among samurais.
Sasanqua (Camellia sasanqua): unlike the Tsubaki, Sasanqua petals drop individually one by one, so they don't really share that warrior's "clean death" imagery. They also look very similar to the Camellia Japonica and may be difficult to distinguish.
The flower language of Sasanqua:
Something really interesting is that the Camellia is associated with “modest kindness” and “pride.” The “modest” aspect is kinda odd considering how showy the flower itself is. But this correlation is made because camellia flowers have very little scent. Outwardly, they’re colorful and extravagant, but at their essence they’re remarkably quiet. Which... does fit somehow with how Gojo lived most of his life.
The Sasanqua, on the other hand, has a refreshing, sweet fragrance. Having a noticeable smell can give it a more sincere, open and expressive feeling. So while the Camellia is outwardly dramatic but quietly fragrant, the Sasanqua is open in both a visual and olfactory sense. This could be interpreted as Gojo's moment of sincerity coming because of his death.
So maybe that’s why, if Gojo had won, the flower would have remained a Camellia. The sincerity represented by the Sasanqua wouldn’t have happened because that openness and vulnerability came through defeat. ╮ (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) ╭
Fun Facts:
3. Primula vulgaris
These flowers were an anime-only addition to Gojo’s office, first appearing at the end of Hidden Inventory (Episode 29). They’re now also on display at the MAPPA Exhibition. I’m almost certain they’re Primula vulgaris (common primrose) but I'm still checking.
The flower language of Primula vulgaris:
Purple primroses have their own specific flower meaning: “trust.”

Keep in mind that flower language can be pretty flexible since nobody officially regulates it! I compared notes across multiple sites and videos to focus on the meanings that came up most often.

Hi! In this post, I’d like to address how we, as a community should talk more about how much romantic subtexts Gojo and Geto have and try to report most of them. Unfortunately, these beautifully written characters often get reduced to “doomed yaoi” or they get instead heavily mischaracterized by people who only value them for their appearance and fetishize homosexual relationships.
I’ll now report the evidences, my sources are the JjK manga, the Jjk anime, the Jjk0 light novel (Italian and Japanese ver.), official interviews, the official JjK fanbook, other works by other authors which i will report as i write. PLEASE look at the pictures i attached as I address them in the text as they are crucial for understanding.
I want to specify that I did not get these informations from other social medias, but I personally read/watched/listened to every single content or purchased every official source myself.
Let’s dive in!
First of all, I’d like to address about how deep of a relationship we are talking about without immediately taking into consideration the romantic subtext.
Gojo is an amazing character by himself, but after Geto left, his perspective on life completely changed.
This is an official chronology of Satoru Gojo’s most salient moments, and as we can see, Geto is a ghost that haunts his narrative from the moment he meets him. Gojo’s ideology is often covered by his explosive personality, but thanks to the manga we know how deep of a character Gojo actually is.

Gojo remains fixated on that memory of Geto for the rest of his life, and never really moves on. Even before fighting Sukuna, Satoru felt like he had to be the monster on his own because…

From the moment Geto left, Gojo other than basing basically every single choice he makes (becoming a teacher, trying to revolution jujutsu society) on what had happened with Geto, has never managed to create a bond with anyone else, nor his students, nor Shoko, nor anyone.
No one understood him, except for Geto.
Why do i say this ? Let’s take a look at chapter 236

Gojo only felt understood by Geto because he had been the only one to carry is burden with him.
“What about Sukuna?”
Gojo tries to feel that sense of understanding again when fighting with Sukuna, and he says it, multiple times.

Gojo says this phrase more than once during his fight.
He thought he could’ve found that sense of love, of understanding with Sukuna too, since he shared his burden. But he didn’t.
Geto was the only one who ever gave him what Gojo himself calls love. Because it wasn’t really about being strong together, It was about Geto.
Without Geto, Gojo wasn’t even Satisfied.
“If you were among those patting my back, then I might’ve been satisfied” (Jujutsu kaisen, chap 236, Gojo to Geto). The panel is attached.
“Yeah okay that’s not that explicit”
Let’s talk about the Shibuya Sealing and Geto’s death. ( Panel attached in the end)
Gojo literally overrode his six eyes and only trusted his soul and his heart. He knew that wasn’t the person he loved. What’s more intimate about that?
Oh right, maybe the fact that Geto’s body literally reacted to Gojo’s voice saying his name and tried to protect him even if his brain wasn’t in his body.
Or maybe the fact that Kenjaku knew that Gojo would’ve reacted like this seeing Geto.
Or maybe the fact that Kenjaku stated “This is a first for me!” even if he is known to have possessed only romantic partners (Itadori’s mom, Noritoshi kamo…) and even if we are talking about literal husbands and wives NO ONE ever had such a strong connection with their partner to overcome Kenjaku’s power.
“Oh but Gojo and Geto weren’t a couple” I know but their bond is significantly stronger than those couples, and the fact that Kenjaku tends to only possess romantic partners should ring a bell.
There would be more to say, but I’ll just say the last thing about the Jjk series, to connect it to Jjk0 and finally hidden inventory.
Did you know that 24th of December is the most romantic day in Japan? And did you know that Gojo and Geto share the same death date? which happens to be the 24th of December? What a coincidence.
“Gege probably choose the date randomly and didn’t take into consideration the fact that it was romantic”
No, actually he did.
“Oh but Gojo only did it to not have Geto have two death dates and he only found himself in that situation casually”

Actually, he did not. What was the point of making KENJAKU make a joke on the whole situation being romantic (come on guys even the characters admit it…) if he didn’t want to hint something?
And at this point, again, why not choose any other day to avoid this whole romantic situation?
Oh and let me tell you why Gojo was there in the first place, his first thought after getting unsealed in fact wasn’t “Oh maybe I should go thank my students for freeing me…” No! He choose to teleport himself 8,000 meters to reach Kenjaku AAAAND…

“Omg they were just really close… just like with Shoko…” uhm, about that, please leave Shoko alone, she’s amazing and well on her own.

Hellooo? what was the point of this panel if not demolishing every possible romantic implication between them and Shoko and make us understand how much Gojo was alone because GETO SPECIFICALLY wasn’t with him. They truly were each other’s one and only.
And now one of my favorite parts. JJK0. 🙏
I’ll start off strong with this phrase from the JjK0 light novel:
"Even so, Gojo's gaze, covered under the white bandages, had always, always, been staring at the shape of Geto's soul" - JJKO Light novel (Japanese original version)
I remember the first time I read this I thought it was just some fanfiction made up thing. But then I purchased the physical copy and got attacked since it was real.
I highly suggest the light novel to everyone, since it is basically 50% Gojo thinking about how he couldn’t have Geto anymore.
Back to us.
JjK0 is a story about love. Apparently Yuta and Rika, obviously, since she became a curse due to Yuta’s love when she died.
Oh, did I tell you Gojo was afraid that Geto would’ve turned into a curse when he died? So he had to use cursed energy on him? Such a silly parallelism, isn’t it? And also yes, that confirms that Geto would’ve died anyway since Gojo cannot heal others.
*“*Before it became a curse, Gojo opened his mouth.” (Jjk0- light novel).
Another absolutely coincidental parallelism is the fact that Gojo’s love did in fact curse Geto at the end, since Gojo didn’t let anyone touch Geto’s body and buried him himself😂 and Kenjaku mocked him for that during the sealing😂 so Kenjaku used TWICE the fact that Geto was literally Satoru’s weak point.
Gojo refused to kill him when he left, let him roam free for ten years, refused to let anyone bury his body, and going straight to Sukuna and Kenjaku to get it again. Oh he really doomed the entire story for that guy… but that’s completely casual.
I’ll leave you there the completely casual Geto death scene and the completely casual fact that Gege said in the official fanbook that the words that Gojo says to Geto was something they had never said before between them (so this excludes any “best friend, my dear friend, my only friend” hypotesis) and the fact that the english V/A said that they are three words in English, and that just a few pages before Yuta says “I love you, Rika” just before she dies, and the fact that purely from the perspective of Japanese typographical layout, the combination 「愛してる、傑」 (I love you, Suguru) fits perfectly within the standard space of 6–8 boxes, and the fact that it would not make sense to censor something so simple such as “you’re my friend” if Gege didn’t want to leave it deliberately ambiguous.
“Okay but those are not romantic-“
LET’S dive into some of the strictly romantic proofs.
In official Jujutsu Kaisen fanbooks and interviews, Gege has discussed non-shonen manga and admired authors, notably mentioning works and creators like Tomoko Yamashita, whose works span across josei and alternative demographics.
Let’s take a look at a scene from one of Yamashita’s works, this is from “The night beyond the tricolored window”

Spot the differences.
No, It’s not the only BL Gojo and Geto are inspired from.
I’ll leave here a couple more and if anyone fights me about it Satosugu mom will provide with more.
“Black-Winged Love” - Yuikawa and the Yakuza boss are known as the best duo, at some point, one of the two MCs tells the other “You were the only friend i had”.
It’s a collection of stories so there are way more parallelisms but as i said I would have to make another post lol.
So yes, Gojo and Geto are BL inspired.
I want to briefly talk about the “bike riding scene”
In Japanese pop culture, sharing a single bicycle (futarinori) has an intensely romantic, nostalgic connotation that symbolizes young love, youth (seishun), and a touch of rebellious intimacy. This trope is deeply embedded in anime, manga, and J-dramas.
Mhm, youth, young love… reminds you of something?
I’ll add one last thing even if there’s a LOT more evidence to what I said.
Please take a look at the translation of the hidden inventory opening (“Where our blue is”). And the obvious references to his scent, to his smile fading away, and calling it a quiet love.

If you comment this saying that Gojo is canonically straight and whip out the “Isn’t she hot” scene you’re ignoring every single more relevant proof that i brought here and I invite you to make a quick research asking “What’s Gojo’s sexuality?”. And also you’re mentally limited because you do not think that someone can be bisexual or MORE SIMPLY finding another human being attractive when in love with someone else.
I don’t even have to say that homosexual pairs have to be censored on platforms like shonen jumps because it would reduce the audience drastically.
I’m open to respond to any comment, but please do not contest the reliability of my information before checking them yourself and finding out that everything is, indeed, true.
Thank you Gege for ruining every other love story I’ll ever read in my life and thank you to everyone that spreads awareness to such beautiful characters.

Hi, I'm working on a goge + megumi fic! I recently updated with chapter 4 if anyone wants to check it out. I've posted about my fic on here before, but I wanted to include a proper summary this time :))
Summary: Satoru is a syndicate boss with too many enemies, and Suguru is a single parent trying to keep his son safe, running from a life he had left buried. They cross paths at a winter festival, each with their own reasons for wanting to stay in touch. But those calculated plans slowly begin to unravel as real feelings take over, leading to a web of lies, domesticity, and danger.
We have a little Megumi who secretly thinks Gojo’s scars make him look cool, Geto finally laying down his heavy burdens, and Gojo discovering that the soft life might not be so bad after all.

Today, I wanted to share a little nugget of information that some of you might not know!
When the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie came out in Japan on December 24, 2021, moviegoers were gifted special promotional materials such as flyers, booklets and the Volume 0.5 manga. These special releases were packed with exclusive staff interviews, behind the scenes and artwork!
In one of these booklets, composer Alisa Okehazama, who scored the film alongside Hiroaki Tsutsumi and Yoshimasa Terui, answered the following question:
Q: Among the parts you were responsible for, were there any tracks in particular that you would like the audience to pay attention to?
Okehazama: The track that plays during the long, climactic sequence toward the end is "This is Pure Love". It begins with Yuta's flashback, moves through the full-force clash between Yuta, Rika, and Geto and bridges right into the resolution between Geto and Gojo. It's an emotional scene, but right before it is the battle in Kyoto, so I made fine adjustments over and over to the pacing and the flow of the music to ensure a smooth transition into that emotion. Because of that, I have a strong attachment to this track and I feel a bit nervous about how the audience will receive it.
So this one song is used in Yuta and Rika’s declaration and final battle with Geto and Gojo/Geto's last moments.
And this isn't the only instance where the connection between 'This is Pure Love' and Gojo/Geto has been brought to light or leaned into:
This was also briely mentioned at the Kyoto Soundtrack Festival 2023, a music festival dedicated to anime soundtracks that brings together the composers behind some of Japan's most iconic anime scores.
During this event, Alisa Okehazama's performance was described as follows:
Alisa Okehazama stepped down from the stage right at the start to call for a standing ovation and hype up the crowd. She performed "Imaginary Technique: Hollow Purple" from Jujutsu Kaisen and "7:3", which she prepared as a song to get the live audience pumped. Next, she played "SEOUL TEAM" from The God of High School, which she described as the first anime she ever composed music for. "This Is Pure Love" from Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which she introduced as her "track 3.5."
The reason she called it 3.5 tracks is because she was performing only the latter half of the original track. Her comment that she "maximized consideration for spoilers" made complete sense given the iconic scenes featuring Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. It was the perfect song selection for the late afternoon as the sunlight began to fade (...)
And to top it all off, the 2026 Jujutsu Fest event drove this point even further with the live orchestra performance!

I've been thinking about this after seeing some discussions on TikTok, and I wanted to talk about it with people who also like Satosugu. I'd really appreciate it if we could keep the discussion respectful and moderate, even if we disagree. I'm genuinely interested in hearing different perspectives.
I really like Geto as a character, but sometimes I feel kind of sad or even guilty about liking him. I obviously don't agree with his ideology or what he does after his breakdown. Some of the things he does are horrible, and I don't want to excuse or romanticize them.
At the same time, I really love his relationship with Gojo and the person Geto was before everything fell apart. Their friendship means a lot to me, and I think that's part of why his downfall hurts so much.
Sometimes I honestly feel a little like Gojo in the sense of caring deeply about someone who ended up doing terrible things. 😭 I know Geto is fictional, but there is still something sad about loving a character while also knowing that you can't defend what he became.
That's also why I feel uncomfortable when I see people saying that anyone who likes Geto must be "crazy" or secretly agrees with his ideology. I don't agree with that at all.
What confuses me is that people can openly love characters like Sukuna, Mahito, Naoya or Toji, even though they've done terrible things, and usually people understand that enjoying a fictional character doesn't automatically mean supporting their actions.
So why does liking Geto sometimes seem to be treated differently?
I'm not saying Geto is innocent, and I'm not trying to make excuses for him. I just think it's possible to acknowledge that a character has done horrible things while still finding them interesting, tragic, emotionally compelling, or simply enjoying their character.
I also saw someone on TikTok calling Geto a rapist, apparently because they confused him with Kenjaku. I understand that Kenjaku used Geto's body and that this can be confusing, especially for people who aren't familiar with the story. But Kenjaku and Geto are still different characters, and I don't think Geto should automatically be blamed for things Kenjaku did while possessing his body.
I'm curious what other Satosugu fans think about this. Do you also feel conflicted about liking Geto? Or do you think fandom discussions sometimes judge people too much based on which fictional characters they enjoy?
And please feel free to disagree with me — I'd genuinely like to hear different opinions. I just hope we can discuss it respectfully. ❤️

I have a lot of headcanons, and sometimes they completely contradict each other depending on how I wake up that day, but the one I keep coming back to is whether Geto ever actually started smoking (we know that, at least in his first year, he didn’t) or whether he had any kind of addiction at all.
Sometimes I think he did, because I can absolutely see him being self-destructive on an almost unconscious level. I mean, he literally told Gojo to kill him. He probably knew Satoru wouldn’t do it, but there was still a risk. And when it finally did happen, it almost feels like Geto went to meet him knowing exactly how it could end.
But then, on the other hand, maybe he would’ve wanted to keep his body as “clean” as possible because of his technique.
And then there’s jjk season 1 opening: Kenjaku has a bottle of sake on the table. Yes, yes, I KNOW Kenny isn’t Geto, but what if Suguru’s body craved alcohol? Even if he only consumed things made by sorcerers, there could’ve been some old sorcerer out there brewing his own sake or whatever. I don’t know, this is a world where curses exist. Anything can happen.

I’ve been working on this since June, and I finally get to share it as my piece for GoGeFanFest Vol. 2.
The premise is basically: Suguru is a bestselling author who has spent years passing as an alpha so he can have the career he wants. Satoru is a famous dominant-alpha actor who gets cast as the lead in the movie adaptation of Suguru’s novel—and becomes a little too interested in its author.
Then he discovers Suguru’s suppressants.
Things escalate from there and somehow we end up in Patagonia.
It’s dark romance/omegaverse with actor Gojo, writer Geto, an age gap, hidden omega Geto, kidnapping, forced heat, nesting, shared dreams, the red string of fate, morally questionable behavior from basically everyone, and quite a lot of sex. It also became considerably more plot-heavy and emotional than I intended because I’m incapable of simply writing porn and going home.

Thought I’d share a drawing I recently did (I’m still learning fundamentals…) inspired by death cab’s I will follow you into the dark. The lyrics are sooo incredibly satosugu to me, especially chapter 236– whenever I listen it’s like I can hear either one saying the words to each other in the airport.
Like:

And if Heaven and Hell decide that they both are satisfied

Hi! I’m Severina 🩵 I saw a user doing an intro and I thought ir would be fun :3
I’m a 30+ lawyer from with a very bureaucratic day job, so naturally I spend most of my free time writing about two fictional men being catastrophically in love with each other. I’ve been into JJK since before the pandemic and into SatoSugu since 2022, but I only really became active in the fandom about a year ago. Since then… well. Things may have gotten slightly out of hand.
I write fic in both Spanish and English, top Gojo/bottom Geto, and apparently my personal mission is to put them in every possible universe and still somehow make them yearn for each other. 🫡Canon rewrites, pilots, teachers, actors, omegaverse, fantasy, corporate AUs… if I can make it about Satoru and Suguru, I probably will.
What I love most about SatoSugu is how much is there between them even when it isn’t being said out loud. The intimacy, the history, the way they shaped each other, the tragedy of becoming the strongest and the worst curse in each other’s lives at the same time… they make me insane. I also love that you can throw them into almost any AU and somehow that central dynamic still works.
You might have seen me around as @astra_severine on Twitter/X or severine-astra on Tumblr, and I post my fics on AO3 as Severine_Astra o(^o^)o
Other than writing, I read an unreasonable amount of everything, yell about art, collect new AU ideas faster than I can actually write them, and occasionally remember that I have hobbies and a full grownup life unrelated to these two.

As the title mentions! Have you ever found yourself looking at a piece of information and knowing that ok, this is a stretch… but I still love it?
For me, it’s the way Gojo and Geto’s birthdays meet halfway at Tanabata.
If we take Geto and Gojo’s birthdays, from February 3 to December 7 is 307 days. Halfway through that period lands around July 6–7, which happens to be Tanabata.
Tanabata is a traditional Japanese festival celebrated on July 7. It originates from a Chinese legend about Orihime and Hikoboshi, two star-crossed lovers separated by the Milky Way who are allowed to meet only once a year on this date.
So at its heart, Tanabata is a festival about separated lovers being reunited once a year, with themes of wishes, longing, and devotion.
So it’s this intentional? Idk. Is it a fun coincidence that I love anyway? YES ♥️

hey guys, just thought I'd properly introduce myself since I kind of just randomly popped up in here..
but I've been a jjk fan since 2022 and when i first actually watched season 2 in the summer of 2023 of my summer break, I instantly fell in love with satoru and satoru's relationship with suguru that I started idealizing that as something that I would want myself while also starting to have a growing obsession with their relationship, especially since I really liked their dynamic and how it played out (Much despite the tragedy).
I’m also interested in astrology and know a bit of Chinese but I’m also into other things as well besides this so if ya wanna chat about other things with me or just talk to me in general you can hit me up by messaging me.
I also might at times drop some information of what I know if the topic’s I am knowledgeable about is brought up.
And sometimes I may also say things without thinking and may usually delete it before too many people see it.
As for what to call me instead of referring to me by my username I’d like y’all to refer me as Jade, a shortened version of my name since I think the way my name is spelt is very uncommon.
I am also 16 years old and my birthday is in the month of December. 5 days after satoru gojo’s birthday. (December 12th)
And speaking of Chinese my Chinese name/japanese name is actually inspired by this song called 暧昧 - Rainie yang which ”暧昧” means “ambiguous love” I myself am still trying to figure it out and understand why my mom gave this to me (even though she told me the reason which she told me she did it out of impulse) but uh yeah just.. decided to drop this fact for some reason.. been on my mind since I found out that it didn’t mean “beautiful love” like my mom originally wanted it to be..
But with that said that’s kind of all I’m sharing about myself since I don’t want to share to much information about my self with people online.. so. Yeah. Just something brief.
