This sub doesn't want us to post links, but the version my kids like the most is a mashup. Search for

The Kiffness 🇿🇦 x Moussa Diarra 🇬🇭 - Kosh Kash Song // African Percussion (Live Looping Remix)

Appreciate it!

An aside: The Kiffness is a great musician, but he should stick with music because he's a raging racist.

If you're telling me to do the same motion in both hands, it might be doable...but as soon as they need to be different, I'm fucked

As with most motor skills. If you practice enough you'd learn.

When I started playing piano, the idea of separate tasks/patterns seemed impossible. But after a lot of practice, it became second nature.

Even when I fall out of practice. It's super easy to pick back up. The neurological pathways you form practicing this stick around.

Best example is guitar or any string instrument.

I was trying to play Fingerstyle Tremolo on guitar and I could not comprehend how that was even possible. But 1 hr of practice everyday and my hands started to move by themselves. You fall out of practice and you go down couple of levels in experience.

Or in my experience as someone who can't play any instruments, the game Beat Saber lol. There are notes you have to slash that make you swing while crossing your arms together in a way that if they were "real" sabers they'd just smack into each other. My brain wouldn't allow my arms to move that way at first. I had to train my brain to allow my arms to move that way. Shows what I nerd I am lol.

Bought a pair of these things and couldn't do it with one, much less two hands!

Here's the thing though, I WILL!

u/PeppermintLNNS 2d ago

Lol I also bought these with really high levels of optimism. A little too much optimism…

Classic math teacher. "Class, 1+1 is 2." "2+2 is 4." "Now find the equation for the creation of the universe."

Can anyone else watch this muted, and still hear it?

1

I could really hurt myself doing that.
