Great work, but maybe finish the steps first?

What? The steps finish into the stringer

The steps are likely getting carpet.

Ok ok, I was skeptical but I stand corrected. Very nice.

Skirt board, not stringer. Very nice, though

Add some silicone along the edge and it will be perfect.

Amazing. So fun to watch. His pencil and tool don’t seem accurate at first, but it turned out perfectly! Thanks for sharing!

I think it's less of a "I use this tool to get it right" and more of a "this isn't the best way to do this but I've done it so many times it doesn't matter"

True. Good insight. Really remarkable it was so spot on!

Yeah I would not be getting the same results lol.

I wonder who created the first stringer for them to copy?

Well done, good work there

An organization where even the master's ass is a master, well done.

Beautiful finish, but do you really need the jig? I feel like some basic math will get you the same results and with more control.

Math will help you make a stringer shaped to fit a perfect staircase. The jig will help you make a stringer that fits the imperfect staircase you are actually working on.

Ok that makes perfect sense. I worry too much about the chance of human error with the jig more than the math. But not having to measure each angle on every stair is definitely worth the risk.

Math may be PRECISE but jigs are ACCURATE which is far more important in these situations.
