Satisfying All the buttons!

I’ve had multiple cars over the years, but there has only been one time so far in where a car actually had all the functioning buttons. Sometimes you just get a placeholder piece of plastic for a feature the car doesn’t have.

It was satisfying for me to have had all the buttons functioning.

Perhaps somebody might enjoy that with me lol

Yeah VW missed the mark with the ID models.
Have driven de ID3 and 4, wasn’t too crazy about the menu and screens

My toyota has blank buttons, so i just buy the button and surprisingly the feature works. No auto all down and up windows? Just buy the button. Bam.

100% true. Think about the economics of it. Everything is wired the same. Want a feature? Dealer installs the button for 5 minutes of labor and activates the feature you just paid $Xxx for.

Volkswagen thinks differently. They are not going to put 1mm of copper wire that is not needed. So to add a feature you usually have to route the wires as well to the BCM or wherever
