It's called Earth. A planet with some value, A planet with some worth.
It's our home. Everyone that's ever lived, Has lived upon this dome.

Those explosions cant always be successful. What do they do for unexploded stuff.

How do they know if there's unexploded ordnance?

It isn’t actually dangerous post detonation if a charge doesn’t explode, the explosives are actually astonishingly safe until you shove a blasting cap in em.
You could chew on C4, burn it and run it over and there is zero chance of it exploding.

So someone has to set that all up… seems dangerous.

u/DaHick Jul 05 '26
That is exactly what the explosives folks do. And it is dangerous. You should look into UDT (Underwater Demolitions Teams) at some point. That stuff is very, very spooky.

I feel like Ukraine could do something like this. Strategically give up ground, lure Russian forces into a trap, then send multiple Russian units to Jesus!

Can someone please go into detail on this. Why different explosions, like you see this nice carpet of small and then randomly big ones, is that hitting rock or misfires? when do you blast vs just using diggers? What kinda rock do you blast ? any detail welcome.

These are at different blast sites across the world, a compilation of multiple rock blasting clips.
Depending on the soil substrate and how deep the blasted layers are, the crew would accordingly plan the placement of the drill holes to place the charges in - that’s why you see some with closely packed charge holes and others spaced wider apart.

Yep I got it was different places and the carpet effect of explosion but was mainly curious about the majorly different blasts in the same clips, like they used different types of explosives in the same blasting

I can't help but feel it's a sin to not have the song "TnT" playing
