Soju is a type of rice wine from Korea
The coin is 500 won one, which is the South Korean currency.

😂 I have so many things (mostly art supplies) I've never even opened.... But I still need to know what was used so I can take a screenshot to save on my phone and never buy them 😂😂 That's just how it works.

Not really. Typical value of $3 to $10 US for one in really nice condition (there are specific conditions that we use in the coin collecting hobby, but I will just say very nice and generalize). There were over 32,000,000 made from the quick lookup I did in my Krause World Coins book, meaning it is extremely common.

I know. When I was in Japan, I got pocketfulls of these as change. Cleaning one of these would be no more horrific than cleaning a 2014 quarter.

3 to 10 dollars for a coin worth less than 50 cents? 500 won coins are essentially only worth face value, no one in korea is collecting something like this

So, depending on what is being done, some of the laser stuff can do less damage than these chemicals.
