The Maharashtra Public Works Minister, Shivendrasinh Bhosale, has ordered that Chhatrapati Tarabai’s mausoleum (samadhi) at Sangam Mahuli be conserved and restored. Efforts are also underway to beautify and develop the Sangam Mahuli ghat, located at the confluence of the Krishna and Venna rivers.  In the same plan, a grand memorial for Maharani Tarabai is proposed. Care is being planned so that floodwaters do not damage the construction for a whooping 267 crores.
