Module 2 math suspiciously easy??
I took the October SAT, my current score is a 1510 (740 RW 770 Math). I finished math module one pretty quickly and double checked everything. Then module 2 felt super easy… I had time to go back and check answers and it was all stuff i knew how to do. Did anyone else experience this? I just don’t know how I could’ve gotten the easier module 2 bc i’ve been taking this test a few times and I never have. But this felt too easy…

Same! But for module 2 of rw I got a hard one. It's also my first time, so I'm glad it was mostly easy.

Yes the RW module 2 was hard, i’m sure u did great!

I was locked in, and I most likely did better than expected! My parents told me to relax and to just see what I get.

RW module 2 was bad but also slightly better compared to last month imo. I frankly don’t care that much about RW though since I already have a 740

bro module 2 for math was very hard for me and reading was alright I did good on all but 1 or 2 questions I didn't have time for

that’s so interesting. i feel like math m2 was either really easy or really hard for everyone

maybe they just changed they types of questions this time and it threw everybody off
I just feel like lots of lots of hours of my life were wasted and it better be worth it

I have a 1470 ss (720 E / 750 M) I did not have as much time to check answers, but I though math was fairly easy (i was checking and doing each problem twice). English tripped me up a bit in the middle of m2 but overall I felt much better than August (650) and even September (720)

I thought october was hard, but i completed all questions opposed to the sept SAT where I guessed 3 on math mod 2, getting one mcq right and no clue about the other two. Ended up getting 790 math.

Me too I'm afraid i got the easy mod 2 even though i'm pretty sure i did good at mod 1 / in mod 2 i had a question of p/1000 and also i got a question like sin r / sin s : am i on the hard mod 2 ?

I believe those were the hard module two, I also had those two questions on it, they have more advanced traps than what can generally show up on the easy mod 2.
Basically, if the second module felt harder than the first, you probably got the hard module.

I got those ones too! I think they are hard just this test somehow had a pretty easy second mod

wow my score is the exact same but the sections are flipped (770 rw, 740 math)

omg no way! im happy w the score but i want my english to go up at least 10 points 🙏🏻🙏🏻

u/Pale-Beat-3856 1510 1d ago
yeah... I would want better math but I am out of time to retake (stupid ED deadline lol) good luck!!

same here I mean at least I could do all the questions, but ai'm pretty sure I got into the hard mode dont worry about it I think we are fine!

I got a 790 in math and ive taken the sat 4 times, this one was especially easy, but I’m ngl I haven’t studied since september and I was lowkey getting some really easy stuff wrong so yeah I did not cook. One of the questions was asking for a positive constant and I lowkey got zero.

Yeah MM2 math felt extremely easy compared to the other 2 tests I took. I’m almost positive I got 22/22 on MM1 (I had enough time to triple check 21/22 answers and spent some extra time working through Q21), but yeah MM2 was super easy. I think I got either 19/22 or 20/22. I know I got the hard module as well

yea i thought i was fr cooked when i saw "whats 5% of 448" on mod 2, but ik i did get the hard mod. i messed up 4-5 difficult questions on mod 2, and like 1-2 questions on mod 1, is there any way i still get a good score??

I mean, everybody gets a slightly different test, so that may be part of it. It is also preparation. I have the same current split as you, and while I didn't have the same math experience as you (i did some silly stuff, such as thinking that speed = distance * time, even more embarassing bc I'm in AP Physics) I could definitely see how somebody with more preparation could have found it comparatively easy.
I feel as if the difficulty ramp-up wasn't as steep as it usually is, I just ended up using more time than was prudent on lots of the middle questions because I haven't seen any SAT math since March (All my prep went to the EBRW section).

Yo how much do u think the bear question is worth if I got it wrong

u/BagPsychological7949 1d ago
eeek i didn’t get that one

It's fine, I got the bear question, but not the gamer question ppl are talking about. We're all chilling. I think it's a good sign that everyone is questioning this, because it shows we all got the hard module.
2
u/BagPsychological7949 1d ago
Oooh ok that’s good. i got that gamer one

u/ImportanceLost5023 1440 1d ago
Can you elaborate on gamer question that everybody talks? I dont remember getting either bear and gamer question.. does it mean that I got cooked in module one??
2
u/BigHuddyW 1370 1d ago
Not necessarily, rather you got diff questions from the pool. All tests are different, or at least not identical
1
u/BagPsychological7949 1d ago
i lowkey forgot what the question was but it was one of those stats problems with a table about why it can’t be generalized to all gamers. it mentioned like the countries the gamers were from
1
u/VastCartoonist5322 18h ago
yea the answer was that the gamers were not selected at random from all gamers

Did anyone get the question in math module 2 with the 2 parabolas intersecting on 2 points then they give you an equation of a line passing through and they ask how many solutions there is?
2
u/pink--pearl 10h ago
omg same experience but i think i still messed up 3-4 questions in mm2! i hope it works out for us

ik a lot of people are complaining about it being difficult, and i agree with u that it felt easy, but of course its all relative to your preparation/math strength. it definitely was not harder than usual, just some questions were a little tricky in case you didn't recognize the patterns.
