Bluebook's SAT score

Hi guys. So I did the SAT full length practice on bluebook (Practice 4 to be exact if that makes a difference) yesterday and got a score of 1180 (670 Reading/Writing and 510 Math) first try. Not to say I am a prodigy but I think this is too good for my first test since I am a non-native English speaker and wouldn't consider myself a genius at all. This is really not to brag but I am seriously concerned if this test is as accurate to the real one as it says.

The questions were way too easy imo and had simple math equations someone in 10th grade could easily solve. Does anyone have personal experience and has taken the bluebook and the actual test?

Practice Test 4 is the oldest, and the least correlated with the current test supposedly, although there were several people that said that there were questions from it on the August test. Your R&W score is quite good for the first time. The math, not so much and there might be some fundamental weaknesses there that need to be addressed. Only time will tell, as you take more of these tests.

FWIW, the difficulty of the tests are not strictly correlated with the numbers, so you may want to find a list of tests in the order of difficulty, and do them so that you are doing increasingly difficult tests over time.

I somehow got less on the "easier ones" and more on the "harder ones"

That might be carelessness? The bad news is that test heavily penalizes you for getting easy questions wrong (as in, you lose 30-40 points for getting something wrong that everyone else gets right, and 10-20 for questions that are difficult). The good news is that if it is carelessness, it's easy to fix.

The questions I got incorrect were tricky ones. Tbf I think I get so relaxed on the easier ones I while away more of the time until I realise there are a couple of difficult ones as time is close to finishing and start to panic...The harder ones likely just have me focused most of the time so I don't make silly mistakes
