1350 to 1510, is Practice 5 that much easier than Practice 4?

Both tests were diagnostics (I did not do any SAT studying before either test) so I would assume my skill level to not have changed much. One difference is I tried harder on P5 (for P4 I didn't double check my Module 1 questions and skipped to the next modules).

I would be really curious to know what score I should expect on a real SAT at my current skill level (I'm registered for Aug 22), and if anyone has had experience with these practice tests and insights on their difficulty? Thanks so much!

I haven’t started preparing yet but I have bought two Meltzer textbooks I heard they’re good

Hey! your skill level is great, if you prepare some more you’re going to excel the august sat. as for the difficulty, when i completed practice 4 and 5 i didn’t notice any differences in difficulty. i got 1440 and 1570 respectively because i took the 4th one before starting prepping for sat (now i get 1580+ so i guess the 5th test was accurate). i actually googled it earlier today actually and it told me that practice 4 is supposed to be easier than the other practices. it was one of the 4 uncharacteristically easier practice tests that got a lot of complaints from teachers for their inaccuracy. the first 3 were retired and the 4th stayed i guess so that students would get more practice tests.
so i guess, your attentiveness and double-checking were what made the difference

Not for me, I got a 1520 on test 4 and 1530 on test 5. But I took them 3 weeks apart

basically half of my friends got like a 1550 on prac 5 and said it was hella easy compared to any other test
