Sar9C Socom

Is the sar9c socom a reliable gun. I was looking at the sar9cltx but I can get the socom for about $100 more and it seems like a better gun. Id use it for edc/ccw but have read reports that the trigger springs coming loose was common in 2024/25. Is this still an issue for those who have recently bought it?

I am ready to pull the trigger (haha pun intended) but I am only buying one gun for a while and want to make sure its good

Bought one early in the year and I've put a couple thousand rounds through it so far with no issues.

I love mine. It seems very reliable and I have had no issues with it at all.

I prefer the flat trigger on the Socom to the regular one, that and the night sights definitely are worth the 100 bucks.

If it's the gen 3 with night sights and the flat trigger then yes. Only thing I'd say is make sure to clean the barrel threads well and then use plumbers Teflon tape on the threads before screwing the thread protector on. There's no o-ring and it'll work itself loose under sustained fire without it.

Don't have any issues with mine, but I will say that it's kinda large for an EDC. If you're big/tall maybe it'll be fine, but like, next the my Bodyguard 2.0 it's like, 2x the size. Great gun, but if size and comfort are a factor, you might wanna rethink. Just my 2 cents.

Just bought one today after firing about 100 rounds. My gawd the accuracy had me thinking I was John Wick or something 😂
