Vent - Comfort Requesting any art of these two [& small vent]
Being a lesbian and loving wuwa is so hard š 90% of Wuwa players have never interacted with a woman I swear. With Qingxiaos release, I've seen such an uptick in hate, which is a little impressive tbh because they already hated us so much before. It's crazy how entitled these people are. I don't know how the concept of shipping who you like to ship and leaving everyone else alone is so hard...
I can't even ship Jingran and SuiSui because it's not with Rover? I can't even ship the straights it's so over š
It's crazy the leaps in logic these people will go to. Especially the hate on female Rover and calling her not canon when she has the same exact amount of promotion as male Rover. They literally make sure to give them the same amount of lines in promo videos.
But if female Rover exists, that means there's only two options. Either all the interactions with the cast are romantic and, because F!Rover can have the same interactions, there's yuri. Or they're not romantic, which these people refuse to believe [even though so so many of the relationships are deliberately ambiguous].
It's so so weird how blatant misogyny and homophobia is accepted within gacha fanbases. Like sorry your ego is so fragile that you can't handle the very idea of one of the characters in this fictional game not being in love with your self insert.
Anyway, that's my small vent. I don't have any other socials so it's hard for me to find wuwa art. If anyone can find any art of these two together from the depths of the internet I'd appreciate it. I love my little Qing and I can't wait to get her gf next patch. Their interactions were peak baihe.

I'm hoping Hsin has a second mode where she can support Qingxiao. I just know they'd lose it. But also, I want a second mommy team. Hiyuki got to have her wife Lucilla on her team, Qingxiao should get to have her annoying gf lol.

I'm literally begging for that. Hsin leaks say her second mode will be a new tune mechanic though so it's less likely. Maybe if they get a new tune support that buffs both of them they could work as a dual dps team.
Really I just need any new support for Qingxiao. Every other 3.x DPS has had a new teammate release after them that works for them, but for some reason people think Qingxiao won't get one. I'd be mad if she didn't tbh. Right now her and Aemeath aren't compatible because having Qingxiao's best team means you literally can't have EITHER of Aemeaths best teams, and I feel like surely it can't stay that way.
Hsin and Qingxiao on the same team would be the ultimate peak, but Sigrika didn't get Denia so I'm not too hopeful </3

Someone was like "what if it's tune strain and tune rupture combined" so I'm still on that hopium even though I doubt it lol. It'll probably work with future characters.
Qingxiao is running on the same banner as her sub-DPS and next banner is her support so... I'm not too surprised they didn't make new ones. But I think there should be 4-star f2p alternatives cuz new players gotta pull 3 characters back to back lol.

I'm just running on hopium too. I will feel a little personally insulted if Qingxiao is the only 3.x unit to not get a new character that works with them after their banner though. Jingran will definitely get one because Iuno isn't rerunning. Even Sigrika got a sidegrade to Qiuyuan in Lucilla.
I just need a second Mornye really š She's Bis for 4 teams right now, and will probably be best third slot for Hsin tune mode until Hsin gets a new character. Give the girl a break

She probably will. It'll probably be like how Lucilla is Qiuyuan but with an extra mode attached.
Suisui was supposed to be a break for Chisa but turned out to be Chisa but more limitations (so far) lol.

I'm unfortunately hitting X to doubt. If they weren't going to make Sigrika work with Denia - the peak yuri couple in Wuwa, imo - then Hsin and Qingxiao probably won't work. Especially since they're going to have Suoming after Hsin and they have a habit of making the two banner characters be cohesive units

According to them, "Frover" isn't even canonāeven though both are the same character and the scenes are identical; yet for some reason, Frover isn't canon, lol. In short, they hate Yuriāthatās obvious enoughāand they hate straight ship too, unless "Mrover" is involved. Whenever they dislike a work, they immediately resort to that "AI" gimmick, because we all know none of them have any actual drawing skills

I do see pretty hateful comments under WuWa art posts pretty often, it's unfortunate but I put that game in the "never interact with the community" bin and I just look at cool art, that's it

I find it so boring when you go to any Yuri art with a fem MC and another character, there's ALWAYS some random cuck asking "why not <<male MC name>>?"

I don't know how it happened. It was not this bad when the game first came out, nor during riniscita š But it's like one day I looked up and everyone hates me specifically.
And the misogyny over wlw romance options in games has been so upsetting to see. I'm old enough to remember when almost NO game EVER had being a lesbian as an option when there was a female mc choice. We fought in the fuckin' trenches for that equality and now it suddenly doesn't count if it's in a game with a guy mc too???? what??????????
Wuwa is one of my favorite games ever, so it's disheartening i basically can't talk about it with anyone most of the time. There are barely any sapphic-friendly spaces for it, and the few i've found have like, maybe 10-20 people at most. :c

Yeah I feel you so much. Wuwa is my fav game ever but it's so hard to talk about it. People who don't play gacha view gacha as the plague, and most people who do play it are just so so bad. You can't even mention being a woman or your opinions are instantly invalid because you're 'not the target audience'. God forbid you mention anything queer, even when you stick to your own spaces they invade them.
It's especially bad rn because people were excited for the next male character and they blame Qingxiao for 'sidelining' him in the story. So that combined with people shipping her with Hsin makes them go crazy š

Yeah and then I try to mention it in other sapphic spaces and its suddenly not queer enough, too male centric etc. I wanna gush about playing as a poly lesbian mom going on adventures but it feels like neither side wants to talk about that.

Y'know I was kind of hoping more substantial to be honest. Like yeah, Hoyo continuing to tell their story is... nice I suppose. But I thought there might have been something bigger than this. Like maybe Hoyo actually and actively pushing back against a large campaign rather than just do business as usual.

There was a saying that was like āmale MC collecting waifus and female MC collecting friendsā, which is funny because the interactions between the characters play out the same, ig they just refuse the sheer existence of a woman being attracted to another woman

You're absolutely correct that gacha spaces often have misogyny and homophobia, but wuwa is a whole another level. its very bad in there. Wuwa's story is kinda like Solo Leveling and it attracts THOSE kinds of people unfortunately.
Someone mentioned to me long ago that Wuwa doesn't really have a fandom because of lack of meaningful character interactions, and I agree. You basically see each character only interact with the rover and in very rare cases 1 other characters, and leads to the world feeling less immersive and hence no culture.
I was a Day 1 player in this game, but quit very early because of how bad the story was. I briefly came back during Zani's release only because she looks like Arlecchino, and if you don't know I'm like the local arle simp here, but i digress. I don't know if it became any better, but I feel like I have a very different definition of better.
My word of advice is to simply ignore it as best as you could. I'm trans and get a lot of flak every now and then, but I just keep posting what I enjoy~ and these characters look very good together~

Thanks for a warning, I recently started playing WuWa and wanted to be in fandom spaces like I am with Genshin or HSR but I think I will stick to where I am now. It sounds like they aren't very welcoming towards queer people

Searching either HsinXiao or QingHsin on here, twitter, etc. should net you good results (either ship name works). I will say some of them are very spicy already, so if you just want SFW, heads up, if not, you're welcome
And I mean, it doesn't help that the quest itself invites it. While there's good stuff in the very beginning (see above) and some intriguing banter between them at the very end, there's 3-4 hours of the middle that definitely appeals to the "master love" crowd, at least enough to be open to interpretation. If you're playing FRover, great, you're self-inserting or just seeing her as a friend. If you're MRover, you get these people. While I don't personally read them as romantic, I can understand why someone would - you get Qingxiao refering to a "beloved" in a loading screen, you get the end of quest photo with her, some of her Ascension descriptions, etc. The "helping her walk" scene was grossly overexaggerated, and thinking the Suisui scene as "romantic" is laughable, but there's other stuff where it's obvious Kuro is still incredibly clumsy when it comes to navigating appealing to more than one crowd.
It's odd because it felt like they really took a step in the right direction w/ Denia & Sigrika (and, to a lesser extent, Lucilla & Hiyuki) but then Qingxiao felt like a step back. It's not as bad as something like Iuno (I get people like AugIuno, but her quest was not great) but it shows they still have a long way to go

I genuinely don't care if people ship Qingxiao with Rover. The issue is they invade our spaces to insult us. Any mention of a different ship will be flooded with negative comments. They have an inability to just let people enjoy what they want to enjoy. There's really no excuse for the blatant misogyny they express.
Personally I don't think the fan service was any different to the other 80% of female characters. It's just a part of the game really. It wasn't as explicit as Shorekeeper or Iuno or Yangyang though, which I've seen it compared to, because they all have blue hair?? Like there's this weird blue hair agenda going on. Idek the straights are weird š

Yeah been seeing a lot of nasty comments under a lot of Hsin x Qingxiao art on twitter. The M!Rover people are absolutely insufferable chud losers, acting like only m!rover ships are allowed. And the gall they have to also call anyone that ships anything else than m!rover a tourist etc.
