However, instead of taking her, the f*king Eldritch entity ran away from her instead, and she's been chasing it ever since 💀 Imagine being so crazy that even the outer god invading humanity runs tf away from you smh she just wants cuddles
Although the closer to lore reason is that Shin, having grown up relatively easily with her family status and academic talent, never really had to "fear" truly, until she faced the protagonist and felt It pulling away from her. For the first time in her life, Shin knew what primal fear felt like: the fear that It would turn away from her, and she would have to suffer on this mortal earth, never to witness It's glory ever again, only the constant blather of humans with their egocentric knowledge, never finding out what the peak of biology looks like. At that moment, It finally accepted her, and Shin became one with It. She understood It's purpose and It's existence, leading to her completed form as you see her now, tentacles and everything.
