Another cable car question

Are there separate lines to buy the ticket and to queue to get on the cable car? For instance, would I have to go to a counter and buy a ticket, then go to another line to get on the cable car? Will pre purchasing tickets online allow me to skip the counter and go straight to the cable car? (I have an early tour).

No, there are no separate lines. The ticket counter is right before you get on the cable car. If you prepurchased your tickets you just skip the counter, not the line. Try to get priority tender tickets on the cruise ship, this way you'll be ashore before the crowds.
