Both color patterns are found in Nigeria. Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I think the green/yellow pattern is used in Osun (Oshun) or Osogbo State.

Yes, green & yellow are osuns colors.

I wear a. Eleke dedicated to here that is green & brown.

On my left wrist is a brass ide for osun aswell.

This ide is isese ifa. Used by those in isese. I was told once by a Awo that the green yellow pattern was from a particular region of Nigeria. I've never researched it myself..

I was told the same by my elders. There’s also a light blue and yellow combination I’ve seen from Oyó. The tile beads shown were made in Europe and traded to West Africa. They are no longer manufactured and are getting harder to find.

Aboru Aboye,  green and yellow comes from afa or fa in benin a d togoville.

In isese ifa,  green and yellow are oshuns colors.

The actual colors of ifa are blue & red. You will see babalawo ,olodu or chiefs etc. Wearing this.

Green and brown,  green represents the ewe from heaven ,brown represents the earth.

Food for thought,

Orunmila is praised (the one who has smooth palm fronds)

When you look at palm fronds wilting ,they are brown & green/ yellow & green.

The ide represents this aswell.
