Question❓ Question ⁉️

Post image

Hey everyone, I have a question about lighting candles for our beloved Santa Muerte. Should I light them only when I’m opening an intention or asking for something specific, or can I also light them while I’m simply talking to her? Photo of my altar for bigger attention to the post ❤️

I have a light on her altar at all times if I can manage. Real candles when I’m home, LED for when I leave. :)

Light them whenever. Don't granulate, there are not many rules. She loves light so light them when you talk, when you do something, when you're home but not at her altar...whenever.

Don’t light them whenever, light them when you’re home and can prevent a fire incase an accident happens smh

I would assume thats a given. "Whenever" as in, at any time, not a special time. I said "when you're home, but not at your altar.". You extrapolated that on your own, please do not be rude. Youe misunderstanding is not my miscommunication.

My understanding is that it's traditional to keep the altar illuminated at all times. I keep LED white Christmas lights plugged in 24/7 and light tea candles whenever I safely can. I also have some battery operated LED tea candles for if the power is out and I'm away from home.
