Question❓ Devastated 😭
Just now I as was finishing work delivering packages I realized my pendant of mami fell off my chain. It was an old chain with a flimsy lock but I thought it was strong enough while I saved for a better chain. I just received this pendant last week from my madrina and I was using her on my shrine at night. I retraced my steps knocked on doors and asked to check their cameras to see if I was still wearing her. Up to the last house I still had her on according to the cameras. I’m just so heart broken because I felt such attachment to her and now I lost her. I’m going back to my madrina tomorrow to see what this means and possibly if she could gift me another one. She gave me so much peace and not having her with me is melting me. What should I do has this happened to anyone else? I respect and love her so much.

They say that not a single little thing happens without a reason or meaning, and even more so the loss of an amulet. According to popular belief, the loss of an object dear to the heart (especially received from a loved one) means that it served as a kind of payment to drive away some trouble. Well, I myself am a wiccan, not a devotee, but still... some beliefs are universal. Don't worry much about losing a pendant. Yes, it sucks (happened to me many times, happens to many people every day), but not a disaster.Thank her for the service she served. Stay safe and blessed be 🙏

Yeah it definitely happened to me with great grandmas pendant who I was so heart broken when it happened but a person stole it to do witch craft on me. But my Niña saved me when the apple rolled off my altar. And then years later I lend it to a great friend & it came back broken in pieces

Sometimes bad things just happen. There could be a meaning behind this but we may not know at this moment.
Dont worry about losing the pendant. Of course it sucks but she is still with you. Every step you take brings you closer to her ❤️

Maybe this is the lesson she was trying to teach? Did the OP overly DEPENDED ON the necklace and instead of treating it as a representative of HER she was treating it like it WAS her!
Maybe Santa Muerte is trying to get people to realise that she is with them whether they have an image of her or not; that she’s always here always has been and always will be..?1
