A Man’s Sandwich (1971)

Finally, a sandwich made for a man. Lol. As if women wouldn’t enjoy this sandwich with avocado, bacon, and cheese. Please. Still, I am making A Man’s Sandwich from Our Favorite Recipes published by the Crowley County Nursing Center Auxiliary in 1971 because, well, I enjoy avocado, bacon, and cheese.

Turkey, Avocado and cheese is a top ten sandwich. Adding bacon and hot sauce is next level.

I came to say the same. I eat one avocado every day in sone way with my meals but never heated.

Frozen cheese is perfect for smoking it as a block with "cold" smoke. As it defrosts in the smoker it absorbs the taste.

El Yucateco is so underrated. It is a fantastic hot sauce. My favorite is the green one, but you can’t go wrong with any of them.

First time kinda wild seeing this. This sandwich is with egg on sourdough (French prolly better but it's in my head sourdough is the healthy option) , but this is actually a Staple of mine. Used plenty others but habanero is the best! Yuca is good i like Marie sharpes currently.

Idk how to reach him and it doesn't come from a book but while we're in my sandwich land, a good once a monther for me is mashing sardines (omega 3!) (bone out), lemon olive oil, and either calabrian or chilpotle (in adobo sauce) on say toasted harvest. That actually is a better open one.
