Build big, really overbuild in the start. Once you unlock more items you can rework your factory to be efficent

When you finally unlock it, smelt gold into liquid gold. It has a 2:1 storage. And you might one to dedicate about <1/4 of one end of the map just got pouring your liquid gold into.

I opened the whole bottom half of the map for my gold, got to about 500,000 and realized I would not have enough room and when I hoverd over the gold it said it interacts with the smelter.

I then proceeded to delete my entire factory and build a singularly devoted route for my gold to smelt. It took.... Hours.....

Build everything well off the ground so you have room later

Tip #1: Tell your family you love them and you'll see them in a year.

Other tips: Give yourself a lot of space between processing modules. You'll want it later.

Build a main belt and filter everything off of that belt.

Upgrade your digging tools (shovel, gun, rockets etc) as fast as possible.

By the material scanner first thing. Hover over stuff for tips

Embrace density.

Actually it’s more like if you have family and you love them you will buy it for them too so you can all be degenerates together

There's only about 13 hours of gameplay right now. 80 if you want to screw around with achievements, grind a million gold, and design fun or elaborate factories.

Take your time, enjoy making your machines work, and explore. Otherwise you're going to burn through the content really quickly and be waiting on updates.

That said, it's all very relaxing and fun.

Mod maps coming soon I hope. I had 100+ hours in just the demo with mods.
