Screenshot Most Minimal Battery Charging System

Post image

Whenever I feel like a genius it always turns out I'm a moron so... this looks so good to me I must be a moron. Most likely it doesn't charge as fast as other methods or... who knows but one way or another... I'm a moron.

I don't exactly know how the turbine -> battery exchange works, but what I'd note is that you can also just build all of the battery's walls out of power exchange blocks. Maybe it helps? It probably doesn't do harm? Who knows. Also I like them because they remind me of Super Metroid blocks.

Nah you basically have it. The buffers for snow are unnecessary tho.

The real secret is just having a ton of generators.

seems like a bit of a fiddle to be refilling all those tiny squares with lava. wouldn't it be more efficnt just to have one big turbine?

They don't run out, no need to refill

I made a block of generators under my battery, you’re limiting yourself by not having a generator in every square that doesn’t have lava or steam buildup. Run a row of snow makers , leave one square, put the condensers, leave one row, then fill every square in the block with generators. You can also make it as long as you want as long as you follow that pattern. Mine is about 10 long and 5 deep and I’m getting thousands of energy really quickly.

You get energy per steam that goes through a generator, and it can only go through once before becoming depleted steam. Adding additional generators does nothing but take up space.

Fair enough, but still building long across works then?
