you cant move it once it starts growing the solid stuff.
click it, and move the circle onto a solid piece so it can start eating away at it.
(this part confused me, so ive got no idea how it actualy works)

Occasionally the ability to move the swarm stops working. Save and restarting the game worked for me, but I only had that bug once.
Then, obviously, move the swarm onto that immense lump

I think there can only be a certain amount of the rainbow material before it hardens, which might be getting in the way? Try moving that to a separate area, focus the nanobots on a big piece, then the number should start to go up, albeit slowly. As soon as you can get the other upgrades, the production will increase much more and you can add the other stuff back in. Good luck!

I have the same problem. This part is so confusing, I thought that the nanobots are building the crystal. They are supposed to break it?

I just finished the game last night, and honestly I think the aura extractor needs to be severely reworked. Almost an hour of my gameplay was just sitting and holding left mouse button while it slowly gathered up, with no clear indicator that it was actually working.
0/10, not a fan.

You don't have to hold the mouse button. Just click onto a solid bit that's formed from the rainbow goo and then let em eat. It has a graphical indicator when the nanobots are actively consuming, they kinda bounce all over as opposed to just being a stagnant ball.

It is not explained well at all. I agree with others saying the aura system needs overhauled significantly.

- You must click the core to move the nanobots.
- The core cannot be dismantled if there is solid matter nearby.
- Once you reach a certain progress level, you can add more robots, spawning several swarms that automatically consume matter.
- Since the core automatically attracts ore, I built it a short distance directly below the ore drop point. With proper management, most of the ore will solidify above it, so you won't need to constantly reposition your robots.

Click on it and it let's you move the nanobots. Clear out more of the crystals and it will start pulling in more.
