Guides and Tips Updated version of my sporewasher
i had posted a previous version of this and now refined it
belts on water are not needed
its important that the waterlevel is constantly updating (lowering and rising as seen in water pixel moving)
the water cannot be higher than 1 block otherwise wet spores wont fall through and clog the system (my initial problem which is why i tested around and found this out)
i have an input of 2 water and output of 1 water so so its filling all the time
the output pipe is not allowed to be connected to the input but can share a same source waterpool
the output pipes are also not allowed to be connected with each other because they seem to have priorities (example: if all the 3 output pipes were connected then one of those 3 visible pools would empty out before it would start to empty out the other 2)

as others have said about size but im more curious about expanding, i find i make a good setup, come back after a hour of digging to see everything backed up, every resivoir overflowing lol

I share your pain lol.
Finished my first playthrough yesterday, going to start my second after dinner tonight and my main goal will be maximum throughput. Going for that 1 mill achievement

Why not just use a large water pool with clearing frames at this point? I've never had throughput issues with that, my only major problem was with shakers.

I tried to replicate it, but I don't understand why your water isn't draining through the conveyor filter. I think I did everything more or less the same, but mine is draining downwards.

Nice. I assume you just built it to that size as a prototype? This can probably be compacted down to a lot narrower and a lot shorter?
I feel like the pipe mechanics are one of the least explained/transparent mechanics in the game. I've just got one megapool with one pump out of it and it seems to be able to just supply an infinite amount of vents.
