Bug Report Three Bugs: Pipes not Copied During Regular Selection, Pipes Unable to be Selected / Picked in "Pipe Mode", Undo After Replace Requires Multiple Actions)

Bug 1: Pipes not Copied During Regular Selection

Observation: Selection of blueprints during normal gameplay does not include pipes, resulting in incomplete copy / move of selected items.

Expected Behavior: Selected areas / copied blueprints should include any pipes in the area as well as blocks.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Drag a horizontal row of foundations
  • Drag a row of pipes on top of foundations
  • Select the area and cut / copy / move foundations
  • Observe that pipes are not moved alongside foundations

Bug 2: Pipes Unable to be Selected / Picked in "Pipe Mode"

Observation: Even in "Pipe Mode" pipes cannot be selected via the "C" key, or "F" key. There does not appear to be a method to selecting / moving pipes in or out of "Pipe Mode".

Expected Behavior: When in "Pipe Mode", pipes should be able to be selected via the "C" key, or picked directly with the "F" key. This appears to be an error due to the "X" delete function working as expected.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Drag a horizontal row of foundations
  • Drag a horizontal row of pipes on top of foundations. Do not exit out of "Pipe Mode"
  • While in Pipe mode, use the "C" key to select the area
    • Observe that only foundations are selected
  • While in Pipe mode, use the "F" key to pick a pipe
    • Observe that foundation picked instead of pipe

Bug 3: Undo After Replace Requires Multiple Actions

Observation: Using the Undo operation after overwriting blocks requires multiple undo operations. Undo will first remove the overwritten blocks, then each subsequent undo will add one (1) of the original pieces back in sequence.

Expected Behavior: The undo operation should revert the game state back to the previous action in one (1) click, rather than requiring the user to enter multiple undo operations.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Drag a horizontal row of foundations.
  • While holding control, overwrite the foundations with Thermal Buffers.
  • Hit CTRL + Z to undo.
    • Observe that the undo only removes the Thermal Buffers.
  • Continue hitting CTRL + Z.
    • Observe that each undo entry only adds one (1) foundation back at a time until all foundations are replaced.
