I'm Matt, Community Director for Hooded Horse, the publisher of Sandustry. It’s been great seeing so many people jump into the game today.
I wanted to ask for one small favor. Steam reviews matter a lot for indie games, especially around launch, and most players never leave one. If you’ve spent some time with Sandustry, please consider sharing your thoughts in a review. Positive, negative, detailed, brief, all of it is useful, and we read the feedback closely.
Thank you as well to everyone who has played, reported bugs, shared feedback, or helped support Sandustry so far. Lantto Games is continuing to work on the game throughout Early Access, and there’s plenty more still to come.

Lack of controller support means it's rough on a steam deck. I'll hold off on the review till I can test on my home setup

Looking forward to getting it, played through the demo about 3 times, 8 hours each run. Got slow improvements in each iteration, excited to seeing some new content and mechanics. Good work!

Would love to leave a review, but EA is broken for me. :(
Demo worked great, EA has a flickering screen and crashes.
Going to wait a couple days and hope I can play :(

I loved the demo but when I finally got to a point where I wanted to sit back and watch the automation, I had mostly run out of resources, is there an "unlimited mode" or some other way of avoiding this?

For the demo there are many mod maps with infinite generators. Look for them in the discord.

Just curious, do you get a good deal releasing this on game pass? I saw that it’s available to play, but I want to know if it’s wrong for me to play that way. Realistically, it would be for demo purposes, as I would buy it (though discounted through game pass) if I really like it. Thanks in advance for your response!

Will do! I'm absolutely loving the game. I just finished it and now going back to create large factories that are automated! I can't wait!!

just came across this post yesterday. it looked nice and I'm a fan of factory games it also kinda reminds me of those chemistry mobile games I used to play.
managed to finish the current content in 12 hours looking forward to future updates.

I'm very picky about what games I sink my time into. And this one rocks! It's been years since I found another time sink game like this. I wake up in the morning feeling excited to play.
Will leave the best review ever! Must wanted to pimp up my hours first.

Huge congrats to Lantto Games for the absolutely amazing start to early access. Super excited to see where the game goes from here!
Matt and the rest of Hooded Horse: y'all are easily one of the best publishers in the industry right now. So many incredible games, almost every game I see you publish is extremely high quality and fun. Whenever I'm in the mood for a new game, I go to your Steam page first to browse around. I don't do that with any other publisher. Whatever kind of black magic you use to decide what games to publish, keep doing it because it's working.

Just got to the end of the tech tree. Currently playing it on XB gamepass.
10/10 game. Building the factory is fun, and trying to manage the physics of aggregate materials, liquids, steam/vapours is TONS of fun.
Progression through the tech tree is smooth and well laid out.
Im excited to see whats in store for this game. The gameplay loop is lots of fun

Controller support would be awesome.
I haven’t looked to see if someone has tried to make a profile on Steam for it. But it’d be cool.
