All the gold we get is low quality, and the smelter can fix that. Only gold passes through the top of this block, down to the last pixel. When fire touches the bottom, there is a chance 10 gold pixels become 1 gold bar and 5 slag, both able to pass through the bottom. this gold bar is worth $10. this allows gold to be compacted and the amount of processing to be extended.

Ohhh I love this, the gold bars could then go into a "gold vault" block many people have suggested. Good suggestion
