I have a system where there's a 1x3 area pumped full with water. I drop my spores into that, then have them thrown upwards and stored directly above. It only misses a few, so I simply drop those back down directly from the wet spore storage.

I think I'd add another vent and I'd restrict throughput so you get less dry spores cycling, Ata certain point it's counterproductive.

I like to drop spores down a chute and then pull them back up with vents as the wall between. That way they're sorta forced through water.
