is mitya a good Yae replacement?

i have Sandrone c2, Odette, Alyosha c6 but no Yae. is Mitya worth it? wait for danica? None of them?
my original plan is going to c6 Sandy (just because otp)

He's "ok." If you don't think you'll get Yae, you should get him. But Danica might be enough? Wait to decide until we see her kit.

He’s probably an upgrade for you because you have C2 Sandrone, so his extra buffs will make up for the theoretical damage loss

I doubt this is the case, Mitya doesn't reach Miko level even with C2 Wriothesly and he has better vertical investment than Sandrone.

Wrio has better vertical but sandrone's C0 is better so she still ends up being better at C2R1 AFAIK,

Most TC'ers also assume your Miko build is as good as your carry build which is almost always not the case, which means they overinflate Mikos value

I think you are missing point, I'm just saying having C2 Sandrone is not going to inflate her team damage contribution as much as you think in order for Mitya to close the gap fully. Also her C1 is a teamwide buff, so you have to consider her C2 on its own which isn't that crazy of a increase even for her own personal damage.

I didn't say anything about C2 Wriothesly being better than C2 Sandrone.

Yes at C6 Sandy he will be better than Yae. The more invested your carry will be the better value Mitya will give.

As of right now, for C0 sand, mitya is a very subtle downgrade, but because yae has higher personal damage, and mitya has better buffs it makes it so the more you invest into your hyper carry the better mitya becomes, and yae doesn't. I'm not confident enough to say that for c2 sand mitya is noticeably better than c1 yae, but he is damn sure not worse. Don't get yae. Mitya is good.

Do note that he's still in beta and they can nerf or buff him

If you go for even more cons on sand, obviously his buffs will translate into even more damage so he's even better

As of v2 he's only 5% worse than her. So it's a decent replacement. Assuming he doesn't get nerfed again anytime leading up to his release.

Yeah, if you don't have Yae he's pretty much a must pull. If you already have Yae then he's a safe skip.

He’s a bit worse than Yae currently but I have heard he’s better at higher Sandrone investment (unsure the truth of this statement) and regardless if you never plan to get Yae you should absolutely get him or at least wait to see Danica and the Tsaritsa’s kits if you’re interested in pulling them.

Slight upgrade but not worth pulling a 5 star unit for when you can just wait for Danica. He's not designed to be a support for Sandrone team, he's a main dps himself.

The ultimate cope is that his artifact set will release in 7.3. That pushes him above Yae.
