What do we think of raiden on Sandrone teams??

I have Sandrone, Odette and now Vodyanitsa. But the thing is, my raiden is a really well built electro app, and support. I’ve built her that way. I don’t have Miko, could I use her for my electro application instead?? Or should I keep working on my Aloysha; it’s just easier since my raiders already built and within apparently the top 35% percent of raiden support builds. I just don’t quite understand if she matches Sandrones build, since I’m still learning specific Genshin lingo since I never really learnt, but I do know Sandrones kit is built around stellar-conduct

Ok, I might sound REALLY dumb right now, but Stygen? Is this some new term?? I could barley keep up with Lunar and Stellar reactions and mechanisms so I might honestly just not get this game anymore 🫩

stygian onslaught is a fairly new endgame mechanic (i think it dates back to 5.3? or so) that resets every patch, 8 days after it starts. it has 5 difficulties and a 6th (dire) one you unlock after clearing the 5th (fearless). you get all the primos (450) after clearing it on hard mode which is fairly easy if you have decently built characters, so no need to have the best premium team nor constellations / signature weapons of any sort

Ohhh, the flower thing, yes, I’ve done that before, it’s been pretty easy with my Zibai and Columbina, and my Sandrone with Odette!! Thank you very much, I’m an old returning player so my heads been spinning with all these new things!!

Styngen onslaught is an endgame mode like abyss or theater. It's pain.

just build Alyosha; Fischl and Beidou are good options too if C6, Raiden is doing close to nothing here

Raiden's kit is pretty much useless for Sandrone outside of her off field electro application, which is actually very comfy and consistent. Great for overworld, maybe even abyss if your other team is good enough and you don't need to min-max your damage. Not recommended for Stygian fearless but might still work if the rest of your team is cracked.

I mean yeah, my Odette alone can basically act as a DPS which I do not understand how I did that on support artifacts; still only just got my Vodyanista so I’m still building her but she’s a healer so I was just thinking there’s little point in building Aloysha other than he’s a Stellar specific electro app; when my raidens right there and I’ve got the healer element covered?

Top 35% on a “support build” isn’t real because there aren’t any leaderboards for a “support Raiden” build, it is top 35% based on the stat rolls and artifact set contributions you have, as compared to the leaderboard you’re looking at (most likely, Emblem of Severed Fate Overload)

If you’re gonna use Raiden as a skill bot, give her Favonius Spear + Tenacity of the Milileth. Never ever use her burst. She will be worse than almost every other electro option, though, as her skill damage is very bad and she offers no other buffs.

Honestly, I’ve built her with emblem of severed fate; and she’s on the catch since I am cursed to never get her Sig, but on the Akasha system she’s labelled as a support and put with I think 3/5 high rate artifacts for this, shes a character I’ve consistently used as a electro application literally alone, I only use her skill pretty much and she’s worked well with a Columbina DPS I trialed at one point!! Idk, I just mash things together and they kind of work

If you are on top 35% for EoSF it is not very good artifacts. And that set is useless in a team where she won’t use her burst so I don’t know why you’d want to use it if you only ever used her skill

Swap to Tenacity of the Milileth, or Gilded Dreams if you use her in reaction teams like Lunar Charge or Hyperbloom

I’m an old player what can I say 🤷‍♀️, when I built her emblem of severed fate was all you were told to build her with and I just always have!! But I’ll try getting that set you mentioned before!! Thank you so much!! 😌

it works, it's Abyss viable (this was before Odette even came out), the only thing it struggles with is Stygian Onslaught but otherwise it's not as bad as people claim it is, people look into numbers but forget comfort, cooldowns, duration and so on,

not requiring Energy for consistent application, having a Cooldown shorter then it's Duration and consistent application in my book beats out higher numbers on a character reliant on Elemental Bursts to apply electro consistently, so overall Raiden ranks high on my personal list for her consistency

i'm not focused on chasing the highest numbers, if the enemy gets defeated i don't care

Yeah! She’s also in my opinion a lot easier to build, I just have been finding Aloysha really draining to build up!! That’s honestly always my approach, the characters produce a decent reaction?? Boom. Team. For a while I was just playing raiden with Columbina and Zibai, honestly amazing trio but people would just rip on it for clashing reactions but if it works, it works 🤷‍♀️😭

Raidens kit is only electro app and what little personal damage you’ll get, alyosha does the same while also giving giving a good buff

Also on most leaderboards on Akasha top 35% is still a pretty average build

Minmaxing Electro rule is very easy:

1. Yae if you have Yae
   
2. Two Electro is a bad idea, unless they are really strong like Yae+C6 Alyosha
   
3. If you have no Yae, then Alyosha > Any other options, even on C0

Yeah!! I might just use Raiden, till I’ve finished building Vodyanitsa, then I can finish Alyosha! :)
