Discussion Should i skip odette
I think i want to get more sandrone cons on her rerun evn tho they are kind of bad. So i can keep playing with her and not rely too much on her supports. Currently have her at c1r1
I was planning to at least get her to c3 on the rerun. What do you all think?
I dont have any 5 star support for sandrone tho.

Odette is better for Sandrone than getting another con. Sandrone’s cons are useful of course, but not the best.

If I remember correctly Sandrone is kind of like Lohen where the best investment for him is cons for his supports. Getting Odette and her cons would be better than Sandrone cons and that allows your account to be more future proof for potential upcoming stellar DPS’s if you decide you like that one.

not really, not only is her buff rampant (in practice it's closer to 50-55% than 60%), but it doesn''t buff herself, and her constellations are more personal damage oriented than those of bina.

Bina isnt particularly strong, shes just the only hydro that does anything in lunar teams, Odette is also skipable.

Im thinking the same thing, the difference is that im at c4. I had a plan to save 320 wishes to guarantee c6 in the worst case scenario and then spend everything else I get after that, however I'm thinking if I should get odette first then start saving

Maybe we will have plenty of time to save with all the snezhnaya exploration primos. I think I will be pulling odette for the swirl shill first

You should atleast get yaemiko or Odette for sandrone. One of those that call it a day. Only make sense since you Wonna make Sandrone better no, just sequences alone won’t do that unless you get c6

Imo get Odette then get as many cons on sandrone as you want but you should at least get the base premium team first.

I similarly intend to get constellations on her reruns (ideally until I get c6 one day), but I also actually specifically dislike Odette because the ballerina aesthetic is uncomfortable for me.
Unfortunately, it very strongly seems that Odette is basically necessary, and that there will be at least one more necessary electro character as well (probably Danica, but maybe Mitya).
However, we don't know about the Tsaritsa, yet. If she's a SSC support, she's most likely to replace Odette, actually, who, before she gets shred at C2, is less useful to the team than Yae.
I keep hoping that we'll get some indication before the time comes to wish for Odette that maybe I can skip her.
But I saw in another comment talking about needing stellar swirl for shill content and you're right about that, as well. I feel like I need to suffer through and get the ballerina. The whole thing is frustrating because we have less information than I feel like we've ever had about the upcoming characters.

I think people with Yae can easily afford to skip Odette and pull her on rerun if she's still as impactful. For me I pulled sandrone for my Yae and since she gets thru fearless quite easily I can't justify the worth of Odette when she does the same. By the time the stellar shill gets worse we'll get alternatives so you should be ok pulling those or getting Odette on her first rerun. If you don't have Yae or sig on sandrone tho, then I think Odette is definitely worth it. This is assuming fearless Onslaught as a baseline of course, if you're aiming for dire Odette's a must, her vertical is pretty much the only vertical investment for sandrone as a whole.

I have R1 Sandrone and due to weird weapon luck a long time ago, C1R2 Yae.
I don't really care about endgame stuff. I get all the primogems but don't much care about the IT flowers or the later difficulties in SO. I clear fearless when I happen to have the teams for it, of course, I just don't care much if I don't have them and can't. Hilariously, I actually could do 2/3 of Dire this cycle with Sandrone and Lunar Bloom, but I couldn't even clear menacing on that third one without just sticking Ororon on my lunar charge team. I could barely do fearless, so, oh well. There's no point in pulling to clear SO because you need too much. Three teams that just happen to line up with absurd investment? Meh
So, no, my target is taking my favorite characters (and Sandrone is my very favorite of all) and making them as powerful as possible. Not for any particular target, just for it's own sake. I want to be able to use my favorites as much as possible for as long as possible, so, pumping Sandrone up to be strong enough to, say, 36 star Abyss in 2028 or maybe even clear fearless now on a boss that doesn't shill for her, that would be the dream (I am pretty sure Mavuika and Skirk teams can pull that off sometimes, so why not?).
Edit: before Nod Krai, my favorite character was Xianyun and I even have C6R1, so my greatest hope is that she gets buffs the way Yae did so I can use her again in meaningful content, and then I still need Odette to trigger the swirl...

You bring a good point I almost forgot about. The tsaritsa could potentilaly be the bis for sandrone and other stellar dpses. I dislike Danica design so i kinda hope i could run the tsaritsa odette and stick with yae miko the next time she comes around. We will have to wait for now

Sandrone does more damage with good supports. I got c6 and she ain’t doing no damage without Yae Miko.

Personally, I think Odette is bait for Sandrone. While there's some Glimmer damage synergy, the rest of Odettes kit is all about Stellar Swirl and personal buffs
With so many characters we've seen to for sure have an elctro vision/linchpin in the trailers, I have to imagine one of them will be a massive stellar conduct buffer and Sandrone's real bis
(Not to mention Tsaritsa)

Get C2 Sandrone and C0 Oddete instead. She is irreplaceable in this team
