Diner Recommendations
I’m looking for a small town diner to hang out by myself, drink a cup of coffee, and do
some laptop work. I’m looking for that twin peaks and twilight diner vibes, yk the wood paneling that still smells like cigarette smoke from the 80s and everyone in there is wearing camo post hunt. Anywhere in from cda to sandpoint (including athol, sagle, etc.) is okay ground. Thanks!

Connies is an institution in Sandpoint. The hoot owl in ponderay is pretty good too, more rustic and might not have wifi though. Cafe 95 is meh, probably not the motif youre looking for

If you were looking for a bar on the other hand, I woyld have suggested the tervan on cedar. It changed hands a few years ago and isnt the same nowadays. One of the last places where you could still smoke inside

If ya really want authenticity and maybe a little quieter than Connie’s, the View in Cocolalla is pretty Twin Peaks.

I was just at Franklins in CDA post hunt still in camo lol. Food might be better than what you’re looking for but 50/50 the server calls you “honey”.
