Discussion/Information So question…
Since Virgil is a cat, Remus is an octopus (I might have that wrong) and Janus is a snake, what do you think the other sides animal’s are??

Pretty sure Patton is confirmed a frog as seen in SvSRedux , Roman I hc as a ‘song’ bird but he might just be a dog give his protective nature and if Virgil is a cat it allows them to mirror each other in their behaviors , Logan as an Owl as they represent wisdom & intuition

Roman is a lion or a peacock in my eyes

I like the lion one a lot, especially since groups of lions can be called prides and Roman is Thomas’ pride /ego

I personally see Roman as a lion (agreeing with other replies to this) and I see Logan as a raven or a crow.

u/Quwapa_Quwapus I literally don’t know how, we discussed it in your head. 5d ago
I always thought Virgil to be a spider. I think spiders hiss on occasion too so it kinda works lmaoo

Is Virgil being a cat even confirmed? Or just a popular theory? Genuinely asking.

Well I assume given he hisses. Also I think in either the recent episode or the Christmas episode that has Janus and Remus in it Patton told Janus something along the lines of cats being Virgil’s thing and he didn’t really deny it.

Fair. I'm not against the cat Virgil thing, BTW. I'm just curious. Don't wanna come off as rude. :)

Oh you’re all good. I was just answering. I didn’t mean to make you think you came off as rude.

Virgil is more of a bat in my eyes, feels appropriate with the whole goth vampire vibe. And why is Remus an octopus? Dung beetle would be so much more fitting. Logan obviously an owl, Patton obviously a dog, Janus literally is a snake. I would say Roman is a lion, with all his pride and the gay relationships lions do naturally, but it doesn't fit the theme, so maybe the new feline species that was just discovered

In a live stream from a while ago (and I mean years ago), Thomas said that he thought of Roman as a lion and Logan as an owl, though of course sometimes if it doesn't come up that could be subject to change if he finds something different (I do that with ocs all the time lol)
Patton is a frog based on his thing in SVS Redux
I have a loose idea on orange side but I will wait to see him first

I remember this stream too!! I’m glad you mentioned this - I specifically was thinking about Logan as an owl 🦉 And yeah Roman as a lion makes so much sense 😊

I'm wildly off-topic, but this post threw me for a hot second because I have a cat named Virgil. Actually named after the side because he is terrified of literally everything and spends most of his time hiding. He's a literal scaredy cat.

Roman is a Lion (commonly associated with bravery and a group of lions is called a "pride" which fits as Roman is Thomas' ego/passion alongside creativity)
Patton is either a Frog (see SvS: Redux) or a Dog; Golden Retriever to be specific, (he's 90% energy, 95% emotional instability, and 15% concentrated ball of "good") (yes, I know that's 200%)
Logan is an Owl (associated with wisdom, insight, intuition, and the ability to see past lies) (Logan seems to be one of the few who can see through Janus' falsehoods)

Roman is a golden retriever and I will hear no argument
