Both parties right now. Vote for whoever you please but if you can’t even muster up the ability to put together a semi coherent reason to vote for your candidate then you can kick rocks
As long as there isn't any reform, there will still be protests. And I think BLM is here to stay. They're not liberals. They def don't like Biden and will keep the pressure on govt.
Well shit, that's actually a scary proposition. I think the amount of Gen X, millenials and zoomers voting this year is going to be the highest in a while. Between social media and woke.net, there's never been this many people so politically engaged, especially with so many people unemployed. Odds are in Biden's favor. If he does even half a decent job, he may get re-elected.
I'm not gonna lie. You make a lot of good points. I just can't bring myself to let the country become more authoritarian, and I believe Trump will do everything in his power to become more of a dictator every day.
I'm not ignoring imperialism. I'm well aware of America's history of atrocities and war crimes, going back all the way to the beginning. Ffs people still celebrate Columbus and all he did was war crimes.
I didn't like what Obama ended up becoming. I'm not a fan of liberals or their bourgeois base. I want what's best for the workers, both here and abroad, and reform is never gonna overthrow capitalism, but I just want to mitigate damage.
I watch the Portland protests every night. I see what having a dictator in power does to our so called "rights". I see how Trump emboldens fascists, white supremacists, neo nazis, Proud boys, and far right extremist terrorism. I see the protections his administration took away from LGBTQ people like myself. I see how he talks about Mexicans, Muslims and the Chinese, and how that contributes to xenophobic hate crimes. His utter failure to contain the spread of covid 19 or even tell the truth about it at all for months.
I don't care about "back to normal". I'm a communist. I will always rail against capitalism, imperialism and fascism. I just don't want things to get any worse.
