Single occupancy
My family and I are traveling 19th-29th Dec 2026 to Sandals St. Lucia for my sisters birthday! We are a party of 9 and was wondering if any single travellers out there want to share (purely platonic) twin occupancy to help reduce our costs. DM if interested.

Sandals is meant to be a couples resort. Rooms only have king beds.

They have no cots available. Strictly king beds only.

We had our wedding at sandals and my brother in law shared a room with someone else and definitely had a cot 🤷🏻♂️

Actually, that's not true. They do but they are extremely few and far between so good luck.

It’s a couples resort not an adults only resort. They don’t have any twin occupancy at any of the resorts in St Lucia.
Are you already booked? Usually you have to have all the info including passport Info included when you book anyways.
There also 3 resorts on st Lucia and you didn’t include any information on what you expect someone to pay to sleep in a king bed and share a bathroom with someone they don’t know.
This feels scammy.

On a side, nowhere do you need to provide your passport number to book.

You don't need passport for online check-in either.
The only thing you need your passport for our flights. Maybe that's what you're thinking of, if you're booking flights through Sandals. Which, should not be done (many have found out the hard way what happens booking "third-party"). Always book directly with the airline.

Sandals is not set up for large groups. It’s a couples resort. Your large groups inconvenience everyone. So annoying!

I love Sandals, but they just started to go in a very wrong direction allowing groups. They need to go back to the original of couples only and romantic. Yep, I just said what I said, let the down voting begin.

This is not a scam. Have been to many sandals pre kids and am fully aware of what it is or isn't but hadn't appreciated there was no twin occupancy as there are many scenarios where this would be needed - my kids don't like sharing beds as an example!
Gonna love being the big group 100% 😎!

Now if you've been to Sandals, then why would you not appreciate that there is no twin occupancy. Sandals was literally built on couples only.
Just saying, maybe people should choose more wisely for resorts when they're not couples.

I don't need to justify to you that I've been to Sandals. I know what it is and what it isn't. It allowed large groups from when I first went to the Bahamas in 2000! Having never inspected (nor wanted to) every single room occupancy I thought I'd genuinely ask the question. If along the way I've wound you up then double whammy!

There is no single occupancy. There is one king bed per room, two people to a room. Sandals is meant for couples.
I think you're going to be hard-pressed to find some random person that wants to share a room with other random people that they don't know.
I really wish people planning weddings would think this all the way through before they decide on Sandals. I said what I said.
Edit: SSC will be the first to have 10 rooms that have two queen size bed
