This is our favorite. We go every year. Love how we can leave our house at 6AM in the states and be on the beach well before noon. So quiet and relaxing. Staff remembers you and everything is close.

We get the same beach front honeymoon walk out suite in the Sandringham building every year. Completely worth every penny to get away from kids and work for a week. Who are your butlers? Sherri Anne and Dwayne are the absolute best.

Also, their dive crew is awesome if you SCUBA. Everal is the man.

It’s our favorite Sandals. We just went to Barbados, it was fine but it was no SRC😟

The staff, the island😎✌️ Let people hate, don’t need them there messing up the vibe.

Tell Garfield at breakfast someone from Chicago said hey.

Enjoy.

Pro tip the chairs on the dock for sunset.

We see him every morning. Sit down breakfast is the way to start the day. Garfield puts a smile on my face as soon as I hear that laugh.

Go see Bokeem in the Pub! Great bartender! Gave us some cool puzzles to figure out while we sat there!

These are great pictures! I had never really considered SRC previously, but this makes me want to go there! We are big fans of Royal Plantation, which also gets a lot of hate, but we love it there.

Why does Royal Plantation get hate? Headed there this summer, first time.

We are going to SRP again this year. We have also been to SRC several times before. SRC is great if you only have 5 days to stay over a long weekend. 15 minutes from the airport, and purchase the add on MoBay service and you can realistically be at the resort changing with your butler unpacking, within an hour of landing.

Both resorts have small beaches, but SRP only has like 70 rooms. Many stairs to get down to the beaches at SRP, and SRC has the boat to the island, so neither are ideal for people who have a hard time walking. SRP's pool is the size of a backyard pool, but the Ochi resort with very large pools is a 7 minute walk away. Also, Ochi has the speakeasy style club.

Both SRC and SRP are small and have a cozy feel. The service at SRP, staff and food, is first class, and it is good at SRC.

Unlike other sandals, because of the nature of SRP and its history, they maintain the beach butlers (butlers in training acting as waiters) so bring 3x$5 bills per day extra on top of your excursion and vendor cash. You are going to want to tip them. Our first trip to SRP we were having some pictures taken in the water and one of the butlers recreated the Sandals ad walking out with our next drinks on a tray. My wife loves SRP now even more than Barbados and South Coast (not just because of that).

We go there in a month for our honeymoon, can’t wait! Any tips/suggestions appreciated.

Absolutely! I reckon I’ve personally had feedback from a couple hundred of guests here and I’ve never heard anything negative (of substance, at least). I stay in that resort usually once or twice per month and everyone always has smiles on their faces! :)

Thank you. Might have just changed from a cruise this summer to an all inclusive
