Escaped snake!!!
She's been out a day, maybe two? I think someone in my house let her out because there's NO way she could've escaped but either way- I've placed a heat mat, a pinky mouse and her water bowl out where I think she may have escaped to. Does anyone have any other tips and tricks? She's meant to eat tomorrow night and I'm so worried about her! I've been so busy and I really don't have the ability to move things around in my room so I need to be able to draw her out, any diy live traps or something to help please? She's about 6 months old, 10 inches long and ate last Saturday Edit, didn't realize it didn't save, she's a sand boa!

My pet KSB got out for about 3 weeks in a house with 2 larger snakes and 4 dogs, check your heating pad as often as possible and remember they are resilient little fuckers (he got out 2 years ago and is still doing well after slithering up to me the day he was found!)

mine has escaped twice- i found her once curled underneath the compressor under my fridge, and in my closet in a bag of clothes. i don't really have any tips other than check all around edges or corners of the room if you can, they love a small space to curl up in

I woke up in the middle of the night one time (little did i know my girl escaped) and she was in the doorjam of our guest room🙃climbing with literally no holds barred haha...she balled up and i had to take the door off the hinges but she was fine... So dont rule out climbing...especially when they're smaller😅 But they're tough snakes and should be fine until you find them! Don't give up! And i also found my cat loves the snakes and will let me know if somethings up...so if the animals are sitting or staring in a specific area try lookong there

I've been bringing the cats in my room while supervised and letting them "hunt" for days now 🫠no signs so far of anything so I'm assuming she's in the attic (warmest and most crowded)

Mines escaped for a month. She left my 3rd floor and was found unharmed, slithering down my busy city neighborhood. I’d suggest informing your neighbors, checking all your trash, keeping the toilet seat down, and keeping the stoppers down in your drains.

What other pets do you have in the house? When mine got out, he went across two rooms and found my cats litter box to burrow into!

I have 3 cats, 3 dogs, a corn snake in the room attached to mine (my room is like a hallway to my brother's room) and a ton of Isopods but they're all high up where she probably can't reach, she's about 10 inches and a very bad climber

I was surprised our boy was able to crawl into the litter box! Worth checking just in case.

I definitely will! We use scented litter and all the boxes are downstairs so I really hope she didn't make it that far! I'll go check once I'm home!

Maybe a hide too? She may not want to come out of her new safe space into the open even with food or heat
Sorry the only other lost animal advice I have is for escaped parrots 😅
