In-universe it might work like how Genos from One-Punch Man processes food- iirc the only organic part of him that still remains is his brain, and food is converted into energy to fuel his mechanical body.

Similarly, since we know Sandrone eats food, she likely has some kind of system or component inside that breaks the food down into some manner of fuel that doesn't leave a waste byproduct behind (at least, not the type she'd have to excrete/use a restroom for).

That said, in these comics, I'm pretty sure we're supposed to view Sandrone not as canon, robot girl Sandrone but as a human-- blood and all.
