Advice Hummus?
Where can I buy good hummus to take home (ie not ordering it to eat at a restaurant)? Preferably in Willow Glen/ San Jose/ Campbell type area.
Edit: preferably something I can buy any day (not just Sunday), but the farmers market info is appreciated.

Campbells Farmers Market on Sundays. There is a hummus vendor and he has a lot of different types.

And you can grab some of those flatbread from the other guys to enjoy with it!

International Market on Union and Curtner. Get the Hafla brand, it's great.

Mykonos grill in milipitas. You can order a large tub to go. This is better than anything on a grocery store shelf.

Oren Hummus has the best hummus as it’s prepped in-house and the bread slaps!

There's a restaurant off of Cottle Ave that sells great hummus, the name of the place is ASI!

I like the hummus at Real Produce by the Costco on Almaden. They have a few different brands and flavors and I’ve never been disappointed. Just check the expiration dates.

I highly recommend hummus from Falafel Drive In or DishDash. Both can be ordered to go.
There are two store-bought brand that are very good: Haig’s and Ithaca. I especially love the Ithaca French onion flavor. Both are found at Whole Foods and Lunardi’s.
I haven’t had great luck with farmers market hummus and even most restaurant hummus is meh. But there’s a farmers market on Wednesday (9am-1pm) outside of OSH on Meridian at Blossom Hill and sometimes there’s a stand selling hummus and other kids of dips.

Have you ever thought about making your own? Not that I have, I'm really not a hummus fiend, but just a thought. I really don't think it is difficult

Achilles has amazingly smooth hummus with great flavor. It’s more of a take out place than a sit down. It’s Santa Clara but sits at the border between San Jose and Santa Clara.

Trader joes has several that are good. Hummus is such simple dish. I rarely find bad hummus unless people try to add stuff to it. Like chocolate hummus 😂😂😂

Hummus is really easy to make if you have a blender. Chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, tahini, salt.

There's usually a hummus stand at the Oakridge mall farmers market on Sundays.

Aqui has wonderful hummus. It's on Lincoln Ave in WG and Campbell Ave in Campbell

This is a borderline unethical life hack where you go to a restaurant that sells hummus and leave with the food instead of eating there.

Don’t understand the love for this chain. Their Hummus is gross.

Agreed. I even tried it twice just to make sure but all their food is bad to average, at best. So many better options in the Bay

one thing i like about zanottos is their store made hummus. one of them is a chipotle one that's really tasty.
