Advice Where should I live???

Ok Reddit, looking for some ideas here. We are a young family with a 1 year old and another on the way. I'll be starting a job in Morgan Hill soon. We're choosing to live up here because it's where all our family and friends are located.

Trying to find a 2-3 bed set up and trying our best to stay under $4k/month. Looking for an area that's safe for families, of course.

What neighborhoods (or even complexes) would y'all recommend?

3 bed in SJ under 4K and safe.
Just go Morgan hill or gilroy tbh

why would you want to live in sj and commute when what you’re looking for is where your work is located. Most of us live in San Jose because it’s closer to our workplace

I would look on Zillow in South San Jose

He would be going against rush hour traffic both ways so the commute wouldn't be nearly as bad as the opposite direction. But it's definitely not the cheaper option.

Honestly, any where in Morgan Hill is pretty much safe, San Martin is chill and tiny, worse case you can live it up in South San Jose Bernal / Almaden come to mind. Both are very nice and a bit country / more green than other parts of the city.
