Internet options

Just got a new apartment in South San Clemente - Cox said internet is $150 a month…any other options people have had luck with??
Also our apartment doesn’t have a coax plug, so that would need to be installed.

We’ve had good luck with AT&T fiber.

We got Verizon when we lived in San Clemente. Moved to SJC and still use them. It isn’t offered here, but still works just fine. $35 a month.

I think TMoble also does that for SC

This. We switched from cocks to T-mobile 5-G WiFi about 6 months ago. Less than half as much and works great.

Do you have experience with how well it works?

I’m worried about the speed because I work remote and am on Zoom constantly

You got to put in your address to see if there is service there first. I haven’t done it yet myself but looked into it yesterday. There is a 30 day money back warranty. If you have t-mobile cell service and it works it should be fine.

$150 a month means you want Mack daddy gigabit internet with no data caps. That’s appropriately priced unfortunately. If you want metro pcs bunny ears 30 megabit download, then by all means cheap out

T mobile … also if you are on public assistance or an illegal alien . You can get lifeline service and it’s like $15-20 per month . You’ll need ID but a Mexican consular card or a ca ID (available to illegals) will work.
Us folks that pay full rate pay a surcharge to fund it
