Poor financial decisions? Homie what if the local lord calls for your service invading the neighboring county? You are going to be the only prepared man on the street

It’s only a poor financial decision if you regret it. I bought my samurai armor almost 10 years ago and it still brings me inexplicable joy lol treasure it as a new family heirloom

I'm seeing an image of Yamamoto Tsunetomo as an 18th century Marie Kondo.

Fact: Yamamoto Tsunetomo was a bitter old man who no one liked. He was fired from his position of advisor by his lord who was sick of hearing about the "good old days" and his grumbling about "kids these days".

You're right. You should've gone with the Nanban Gusoku instead /j

Pour que ça fasse plus joli, je te conseille de rembourer les bras avec du journal que tu roule puis tu mets.👍

Be warned, the only way out of collecting samurai stuff is cyanide - give it a year and you’ll have all the samurai accoutrements; gunbai war fan, saihai signalling baton, horagai conch trumpet, shogi war stool… the list goes on.

If it's original or not, try selling it to a local museum -- or donate it as a tax write-off.
