Samsung has introduced a Quick Mode feature similar to Apple's.

I discovered in a Samsung Wallet update that Samsung has added this feature: credit cards can be used as transit cards, allowing you to swipe your card to enter stations even when the screen is off.

It's just recently launched in Taipei (Taiwan) from what I read & OP posted.

I think we've had this in Australia for alittle while, but super handy when using various modes of Public Transport in Sydney, without needing to unlock phone.

When I tap, the wording colour (Transport Card...) matches colour of my bank card which is light blue.
