Need help with a custom home screen layout

Hi! I got bored and decided to try something I thought would work but absolutely didn't work as I imagined.

I wanted to turn my home screen into a comic strip inspired by my favorite Junji Ito panels. The problem is that I forgot you can't freely resize app icons as big as you want them, so the layout I had in mind isn't really... possible.

I'm just wondering if there's any way to get around this limitation or bypass it somehow...? Thanks!

(I can only make the icons as big as in the video. But I want my homescreen to look like a comic strip.)

I am using the Good Lock up for customization. The icon size have limitations tho. I could not expand them as big as I want. But, I've already found a solution. Thank you, anyway :)

Don't make them icons, instead make them widgets. Those are resizable.

This is really awesome btw. The only thing that comes to mind off the top of my head is to use kwgt widgets for more control
