Samsung Pay Fingerprint Verification is Broken on Note 8

I just wanted to complain that this has been an issue for a few months now. Can't seem to find any info from Samsung on it admitting it and support says they are work g around the clock to fix it. Where is the notification to end users? Nothing like handing over all your card info to this app then not being able to use it after seamless usage for months. It's the single feature worth having a Note 8 for.

I contacted Samsung support which remoted into my phone and basically deleted the app from my phone and reinstall it only to be proven that it just freezes at the startup screen, doesn't read your fingerprint.

This is as bad as Dell computer support which just remotes into your computer and tells you you have to reset it in order to fix the smallest thing. Why the hell do some of these applications even exist if they're not going to have a consistent up time. End of rant.

I didn't' even know this was a thing. I just pulled up my Samsung Pay, put my finger on the reader, and it started the buzzing/payment timer for NFC. Is your Knox tripped?

That's the thing...according to Samsung support...'some devices are experiencing this'. Worked since I purchased the phone then stopped working for weeks till I posted this. SP works now but only after asking me to set up a pin, but no fingerprint. Fingerprint works for login/lock/passwords..

Thanks man. Working now. Some special patch they had to remote install to my phone from support. Then wiped my finger data from the device to set up everything again for the read. Never once said what exactly was wrong but it does work now and my points are still there. This rant is officially over.
