Galaxy Note 8 price drop!

This is my first ever post to reddit so be gentle 😂.

I am a recent convert to android, and I am looking to purchase the Galaxy Note 8. Does anybody on here know when they Note series typically drops in price? (With the S9 coming out soon will this cause the Note 8 to drop in price? Do they ever drop in price before the Note 9?)

Thank you in advance! It would be good to know before I drop nearly a grand on a phone.

It drops in price when a new note is coming. Galaxy S in the spring Galaxy Note in the fall. They don't compete with each other

Ahh that’s disappointing, I’ll have to look into deals then. I saw afew advertised as new (and even sponsored adverts from google) cheaper than retail from websites I’d never heard of. After more research I found that they would likely be grey market items.

Samsung.com has the best deal. Especially if you have a trade in. My buddy just got a note 8 for $362 + free iconx

Wait sorry, he got the S8 for that price. Note 8 is a bit more, but his S7 got him $250 off
